Service was excruciatingly slow and the beer was somewhat warm. I'm going to give the benefit of the doubt though as I was told they had no plans to be open yesterday, so they were scrambling. BUT, the warm beer is inexcusable.

Walked down a few Fridays ago .... I couldn't be more excited about this new addition to the nabe that's nestled underneath the majestic steel arches of the #1 train.
It's clear a lot of thought went into its creation from the beautiful, custom made communal outdoor tables, well curated list of brews and attentive service. There's no doubt that Bierstrasse is poised for success.
I ordered the bratwurst and a fresh baked pretzel which came with spicy whole grain mustard that could become habit forming. As for the beer cheese, going forward in life, I want it on all of my meals. P.S.- The #1 train at 125th st or 137th st/City College are a quick 5 - 10 min walk to the beer garden.

What a fun afternoon we had yesterday eating and drinking at Bierstrasse. Super friendly staff and bartenders. Food was very good - between us we had burgers, fish tacos, fish and chips and the chicken spaetzle. Never a wait for a cocktail. We all left very happy. The entertainment was really good too!
