I got to the wellness center to see my pain doctor whom is great! Dr. Sierra has a busy practice he is experienced with a variety of age groups including seniors. He has been joined by an Occupational Therapist Carol. The clinic is pretty easy to get to 494 and France. More...

I went with someone who had just gotten out of the hospital and was in terrible pain. There was some miscommunication and he thought his prescriptions would be ready but instead we had to wait over an hour to see the doctor, without an appointment and on a Saturday. Well he was rude and verbally aggressive to the staff and the doctor was going to give him 2 months of meds and not to come back. Thank goodness we got that cleard up because good pain doctors are almost impossible to find. So this one its worth keeping. More...

I started seeing Guy for massages a few years ago while he was still in Hopkins. I have seen several massage therapists, and Guy is definitely the best. His passion for holistic wellness and massage therapy really shine through the wellness center, his demeanor and his massages. The prices are reasonable and the care is beyond comparison. I had been suffering from chronic pain in the glutes (I was not being a pain in the glutes) and had tried physical therapy (waste of lots of money), acupuncture (some relief), rest (made me crazy), deep tissue massage (ouch), and just gutting it out. Nothing was working until I visited Guy at Bhakti Wellness Center. Within a couple of weeks, I was pain free. This is after 2 years of trying everything else. While it had been over a decade since I last required the massage services of Guy Odishaw, I was again left with the feeling of having been transformed by a master. 5-Stars isn't high enough. My first experience with Guy was so amazing that I immediately booked another appointment for the next day. The Sports Massage by Guy was so relaxing and healing. I always have had good health and principles when it comes to nutrition and exersice, but the concept of overall wellness can be challenging at times when trying to keep up with everyday life. Through my experiences of visiting Dr. Katie Corazzo at Bhakti Wellness Center, I've found myself in a much better state. She put things into consideration that I wouldn't have even thought of that would alter my health. My first visit was two hours, as we went over everything from head to toe concerning my health. Following appointments were just as in-depth-- never rushed or felt unimportant. When I'm there, its all about me and my health, and how she can help. I went to Bhakti Wellness Center for massages on several occasions. It was an excellent experience. I felt calm and relaxed in every aspect of the experience. The music, temperature of the room, the aromatherapy, and choice of color lighting was very unique to this Wellness Center. Unlike the corporate massage places like Massage Envy, Bhakti offers a unique personal experience for each client. I highly recommend this center for any kind of ailment you are experiencing that can benefit from massage. My services began in 2007 with massage and Cranial Sacral with Guy, which was and continues to be fantastic. I have taken several classes from Guy and have found the skills I developed in and from these classes have informed me, as well as changed and improved my coping skill sets. I started visiting Dr. Katie Corazzo about 7-8 months ago. From the very first visit it was quite clear that discussing my health goals with a Naturopathic Doctor would be very different that with a traditional medical doctor. She spent more than hour with me on my initial visit, asking questions and actively listening to my history and goals. Each subsequent visit consists of a detailed review and progress check, as well as an outline of future goals accompanied by a treatment and dietary guide that's easy to follow and reference. Since I've began working with Dr. Katie, I've hit and maintained my weight goal, I have improved energy, decreased allergy sensitivities and, overall, I just feel healthier. The Bhakti Wellness Center is fantastic! Their new space is larger (which means more opportunities for different classroom settings, ect. ) but it still has the same inviting, relaxing vibe as their last place! The therapists are professional and really do have your best interest at heart! In my experience (I usually stop in every month or so if I'm in the area), they have your health as your first priority, not your money. Every time I visit, I come away feeling more relaxed and more in-tune.A special shout-out to the therapist I usually go see - Gizelle Erickson! Working all day at a computer and having become an avid runner over the past two years, I was way overdue for a massage or two. This is such a great place - it's small enough that your therapist remembers you and the details of your last visit, yet large enough to attract a great group of professionals. Massage at Bhakti has helped me learn about my muscles, their connectivity, and the effect of my posture during work and runs. I love the package deal they offer - you can save big if you buy a package of services in advance vs. one at a time. I knew I'd be back for a few more massages while training for a half-marathon, so I went ahead and pre-paid for 3. It's awesome to take care of payment and tip ahead of time so that you can enjoy a massage whenever without planning. I totally recommend Bhakti for an experience catered completely to your needs.
