Over the summer, Luca Brasi, then a six-month old Aussie puppy from California, joined our pack.  Luca is a sweet, energetic and incredibly playful puppy whose energy level skyrocketed when he saw other dogs.  I began to dread the frequent walks throughout the day and was afraid I would exacerbate my rotator cuff tear from all the leash control I'd have to exert.  Karin saved my life and sanity.  Luca took to her immediately.  She spent a long time with us for the initial session to observe and assess Luca's training needs and went into great detail about her dog training philosophy and methodology and demonstrated a few things.  After just one session, walking became such a joy and Luca has since expanded her repertoire.  More than anything, she has taught me how to be an even better dog momma.  Daily training practice is something Luca and I enjoy immensely and wherever we walk, Luca gets complimented on how nicely he walks with me.  Karin is also always available for phone consultations whenever there's a behavior that puzzles me or a new thing I want to try. With her help, Luca will continue to develop into an even more amazing pack member. More...

Four months ago my roommate and I adopted two Toy Australian shepherd puppies (litter mates). Australian shepherds are an intelligent breed and are amazing dogs. ..if trained properly. We are so happy we found Karin, she is very knowledgeable, experienced, and passionate about what she does. Having litter mates can be difficult and I don't think we truly understood what we were in for! Since our sessions with Karin, we have been doing great with potty training, establishing ourselves as the 'leader', recall (which we have learned is so important), sit, down, stay...and so on. She is extremely patient and is available literally 24/7 to answer questions. After finishing our sessions, Karin still makes herself available to answer questions and give advice. She treated each dog separately and addressed both of their issues. I highly recommend Karin! :) More...

We feel so grateful that we found Anna to be our dog trainer. She helped us implement a great routine to Peyton’s daily schedule, which helped him work toward becoming house trained. The best part about Anna was she made herself fully available between sessions. We would message her with questions and with issues about Peyton, and she was always quick to respond. Having her at our disposal on a regular basis was great, since we could continue correcting habits even when Anna wasn’t in our home. Now that we’ve finished our sessions, we will still occasionally ask questions and Anna continues to offer great advice. All in all, Anna is very passionate about her work and will help you get results for your pooch! More...

Karin is a spectacular trainer and incredibly talented. We adopted a mutt who we quickly discovered was part terrier...a bit more than we were ready for as new dog owners. Besomomma to the rescue!!! The first session was almost 3 hours and we were taught the "why" behind training, how dogs value play, attention and food, and essentially how we would turn our little rascal into a refined lady and properly behaved dog. Karin is always available and is incredibly calming. That was necessary as there were several times I called her hysterically crying. A new dog is like a baby and you don't get a lot of sleep! After 6 sessions our dog can sit, go down, "leave it" (most of the time), come, come when there is an emergency (an important distinction!), roll over, and "play dead". Thank you Karin for helping us be good doggie parents and making our pup well behaved!!! More...

Q&As

Changing people’s lives, helping raise puppies - which is not easy. I also love seeing the faces of my clients the moment their dogs sit on command. It’s priceless, and it never gets old!

I adopted a dog with Autism which sparked my curiosity in dog behavior. That, coupled with my degree in Psychology, made me not only a dog trainer but also a canine talent caster.

After you sign up with me, I offer 24/7 access through phone/email/social media. This means that if you have a question at 2am, for as long as I’m awake (you’ll be surprised - I usually am!) I will answer.
