We provide Full-charge bookkeeping, HR & payroll services, as well as accounting software training & support to companies of all sizes.
Why is it so important for businesses to hire a great accountant?
Hiring an accountant that you trust and get along with, is key to success. It saves you time, effort, and money to partner with an accounting professional. It also prevents current and future headaches that can arise when it comes to financial matters. It is best to get someone to do the job that loves doing it. I know it is weird, but we are out there.
What do you love most about your job?
Being able to help people with their businesses, aka their passions. It is a stressful and exciting time to start your own business, but I love being able to alleviate some of the common stresses that plague fledgling businesses.
What inspired you to start your own business?
Growing up I was kind of an odd kid, so I did not have too many friends. Which led to spending summer vacation with my mom at her work. She was an accountant and system admin for the State of Utah. I would just watch in amazement because she could type 90-100 wpm, and therefore must be magic.
I looked up to her, so when I had the opportunity to take accounting in school...I did. All those years of watching her I was actually learning accounting. Something that was made obvious only after taking the courses. I got my first accounting clerk job as an intern the summer after my junior year and have been gaining experience in the field in the 20 years since.
Ever since I was little I have always dreamed of owning a business, so I decided to stop thinking of it as something I could do and made it into something I am doing. Accounting is second nature to me as well as something that connects me to very fond memories of my mom.

I have 25 years of experience in varying corporate accounting positions in many different industries. Anywhere from Accounting Clerk to Accounting Manager to Assistant Controller. Being a Certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor, Xero Partner & Advisor, and a FreshBooks Accountant, I attend seminars, participate in training, and maintain certifications. I also legitimately love accounting.
