Brisket Sandwich is excellent. No complaints about menu or service. The menu is full of pleasant surprises.  I'm definitely forgoing to revisit for Sunday Brunch

Boyfriend, our 1 year old son, and I stopped here for dinner and drinks on a Saturday. We both ordered the ROCOCO-nut drink which was so yummy! We ordered the Vietnamese wings, then I had the Peruvian Chicken, and he had the Shishito Ribeye Cheesesteak. They also made some plain tots for our son. Everything was superb with such great taste! We were blown away that this little place in Reading is putting out such great food. We will continue to come back here! More...

Awesome apps.  The tots and curds and shishito peppers with goat cheese are fantastic.  The owner is the same aloof and jerky ex-manager from canal street (who singlehandedly got soooo many people to abandon that place).  Hopefully he doesn't do the same here, because the food is excellent. Well.First of all...why does this establishment only have one review?! I noted many reviews on Facebook, but they need to get their Yelp game going. . don't worry, guys. I got you.Okay, so this was the first stop on my surprise mother daughter date adventure.  Mamma always gets scared when I tell her I'm taking her out for a surprise, but this time I wasn't quite taking her out of her element.  I'd wanted to try this spot for a while now (more so for dinner, but they're not open past three on Sunday), and in hindsight luckily my first choice (an Oyster bar of sorts) was also unavailable for the day.  I love the GoggleWorks. Might be partial because I go there to see Jimmy for all of my tattoos, but I still get chills of excitement upon entering.  The restaurant has a very open, warehouse vibe upon entering.  Metal chairs, simple white walls, but it's cozy.  Even more so thanks to the live jazz during Sunday brunch!  Their tap list is overtaken by Slyfox, which isn't one of my favorite breweries, but as least there's a fair amount of options. Anyways, John, our bartender was attentive and sociable for the entirety of our stay.  Slyly convincing me on a delicious final "coffee" beverage to end the meal.  My mother chose the brisket melt (insert seven drooling faces) and I went with the durham plate and brussel sprouts.  I aaalways place on order when these buds are on the menu.  They included fig preserves and pomogranate molasses, but somehow were not too sweet for my palate.  The tangy pickled onions added a delectable dimension to the plate.  The durham plate included a biscuit topped with a fried green tomato, poached eggs, and their jalapeno verde sauce.  This is a great sauce.  Recommend for all mouth holes.  My only confusion came with the chicharrones and random fried black eyed peas I believe they were.  There was supposed to be acornbread topping, but that was nowhere to be found.  Gotta dock some happy points for that.  Overall, I can't wait to get back for dinner.  There's a beet reuben I'm dying to try.  My main issues are with the random additives to my plate and the man who seemed to be head bartender/maybe the owner came off as a bit rude to his kitchen and bar staff.  They're your business family, and they're great. Make sure you treat them as such. More...

My first visit To this trendy eclectic fabulously delicious café at the goggle works. The food was so fresh the service was great and the environment is artsy. Great job Dustin. I'm happy to to see you your Dream come alive. I can't wait to come back for a visit on jazz Sunday for all those fabulous boutique cocktails and gourmet bites. #supportlocalbusiness More...

Great food, great environment, great all around. We had the Shrimp and Grit cakes and the Tuna Nachos. The shrimp was a bit over cooked, however still tasty. The nachos were beyond delicious. We also chose the mimosa flight, great choice as well. I will definitely be returning. More...

I was waiting for this restaurant to open because I can walk to it. The area is greatly in need of restaurants, especially with a movie theater across the street. We walked over to try Sunday Brunch, which will be a rotating menu so I'll definitely come back. We all enjoyed our food, I was with a picky eater and he enjoyed his food. What we are:Poached eggs over potato hash, it was delicious. The eggs were perfect consistency. Mushroom toast: the picky eater got it and was cleaning his plate. Shrimp and grits: nice portion of large shrimp with grit cakes. Chicken sandwich with loaded tots, all so tasty. Our favorite was the blueberry cheesecake crepes, we shared them, wanted to get another order but we had gotten the last ones Lemonade had good flavor, just slightly too tart.
