We had a group date at this location. We were definitely underdressed. Our waitress was nice with recommendations and accommodating meatless options. The wine was phenomenal but pricey. $34 for our bottle, found at a wine store for $14. The artichoke hearts were good, but not amazing. The calamari was delicious. My boyfriend loved his mastacholi and added italian sausage. My fettuccini was delicious and rich! The veal picante was super flavorful and the lasagna was not bland at all! My friends salad came out with olives, when asked for without. It was a quick fix. They boxed our items up for us which was nice. The gratuity is already factored in for 6+ not 8+. My Fiancé and I, attend Bella Mia last night. I came in, to place an order to go, however after seeing the ambiance and decor, it was sooo beautiful. . I knew we had to dine in. The owner greeted me, it was a casual day, so I wanted to make sure our attire was ok. He embraced, me and said you’re totally fine.. Wow.. once my fiancé and I returned the friendliness of the owner, and staff was AMAZING!! The food was delicious. It felt so good to have great service, and great food. Bella Mia is a taste of downtown in the South Suburbs. Thank you sooo much.. my parents are deceased, and holidays are hard (but not only did you celebrate my birthday, you made us feel like, we have known each other our entire lives) we are forever grateful, and will be back soon.. ❤️❤️ Merry Christmas More...

We went here for Thanksgiving and all I could think was I can't wait to go back and try other dishes! The waitstaff was kind and helpful, the pour of wine was generous, the bread was fresh and warm.

Very nice place. Had the pork chops... some of the best I have ever had. Very tender and a great garlic sauce laid on top. Fantastic. Wife had the chicken parm and loved it. I absolutely love going to Bella Mia! I love the atmosphere, the coziness of the whole place! They have excellent wine and their chicken Bella Mia is outstanding! There are some nights you'll get live music that is entertaining Without drowning out conversation. Your prices are also very reasonable! Absolutely loved this place! My mom and I came in from out of town, both in business trips. Having no clue where to go, we sure picked the right place! Excellent food, authentic Italian dishes and great ambiance. The service was great- we never felt rushed, but when we needed something our waiter was very attentive. The best ever ( homemade I believe ) linguine with white clam sauce, the bruschetta was fresh, tasty and perfectly blended. Salad was fresh, crisp, cold, with great garlic dressing. However more important than the absolutely best Italian food I have tasted was the hospitality and warmth of the four employees I encountered. This was a takeout order and everyone of the waitstaff made me want to give them my business forever. They were all professional but warm and friendly, well trained and seemed to genuinely like their job. Kudos to the owner ! You are a jewel in a world that is lacking your level of service. Came in here tonight, it was our first time trying this restaurant. I enjoyed the complimentary bread, with the olive oil and Parmesan cheese. I ordered the fettuccine Alfredo, and it came with soup. The broccoli soup wasn't the best. They give you a good portion of noodles, and I thought the Alfredo sauce was good.My fiancé ordered the linguini with shrimp and broccoli in a garlic and olive oil sauce. He loved it. He also had the broccoli soup and said it was lacking a little flavor.The lemoncello cake is delicious. It has some type of white chocolate on the top and is very moist and has a good lemon taste. I have been here on multiple occasions. Once for a wedding shower and the rest were regular dinners. The staff is very attentive and friendly. We had Beth one evening and particularly thought she did a great job. The busboys were also on top of it, which we always appreciate.The food was excellent at the wedding shower. I do feel the food is a tad overpriced for Italian and it is good...but not outstanding. The fresh baked bread and oil is wonderful! We also had the Chicken and Rice soup which was also very good. We love to dine at Bella Mia. Beth is a wonderful server who remembers you and makes a terrific meal an even more enjoyable dining experience. Weekends at Bella Mia are very, very busy so we have started to dine here during the week. Drinks are delicious, the wine selections are interesting and special, and the stuffed mushrooms and calamari along with the hot bread and mashed garlic introduce you to what will be a very memorable dining experience. My husband always orders the Portofino. It is a fabulous seafood dish served in a bowl that is about twenty inches in diameter. The seafood is cooked perfectly, the sauce is mouth watering and the thin pasta is a great find at the bottom of the bowl. Just be prepared to take home a huge carryout. I prefer a salad and one of the many tasty chicken dishes, particularly the Chicken Bella Mia. No leftovers for me! And then, when you think you can't eat another bite ... here comes the dessert tray. The limoncello cake is meant for two and is a nice finish to the meal. Of course, who doesn't like some chocolate or a cannoli? Anything you choose for dessert is wonderful.
