What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?
Taking a TON of pictures. Some of the best pictures are the ones where no one knows you are taking a picture and being themselves. Taking pictures of the moment... not just the very still and uptight pictures. Having fun!
Also I don't like to use a lot of photoshop. It tends to make pictures look unrealistic and can take away from the primary subject of the photo.
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
What kind of pictures are you wanting to get? (Artsy, traditional, fun, etc?)
What kind of budget do you have to work with and would you want to start a payment plan to make it easier on your budget?
What are you looking to get out of this session?
How can I make this day special for you?
Do you have any examples of pictures you love that you have seen in the internet (example: pinterest) that you would like to recreate?
What do you love most about your job?
Photography is what I have always wanted to do since I was in grade school. This is my creative outlet. I love weddings and love being there to help my bride and groom have the best day ever and get all the pictures they want.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I want to make this my dream full time gig. I want to be my own boss and make time to spend with my family.
