Ben and his teammate were awesome! We heard Ben DJ a wedding a couple years ago and new we wanted him to be at our reception from the moment we got engaged. Ben was very easy to work with. He made picking music for all parts of the reception a breeze and worked with us and family members to accommodate all of our special requests. He even MC'd and made sure the reception moved along smoothly so that we didn't have to worry about what needed to happen next. We also booked the photo booth through him and it was a hit! They provided us with a scrapbook of all the pictures, too. While our venue was great, we truly believe the DJ is what made the night so fun. Throughout the night, our guests shared with us how much they loved the DJ, his music, and how much fun they were having (some even asked for his business card at the end of the night!). Omgoodness where to begin! Working with Ben and Jason was such an awesome experience! My daughter got married on July 1, 2017 and our DJ backed out at the very last minute. Highly, highly recommend! Rob was the DJ and MC for our wedding in April. We also rented their photobooth (totally worth it! ). Can't say enough good things about Rob. He was incredibly experienced and was able to key in on our musical tastes so quickly. I am definitely biased, but Rob MC'd and DJ'd the best wedding I've ever been to! :) The dance floor was packed all night and he knew exactly what to do to get everyone involved and having fun. I would highly recommend Jason. I could not have asked for anyone better. The man was on point. When I would come near the DJ area he would be up and ready in case I might need him or have a concern. Which I had no concerns at all. When my son in law wasn't feeling well he adjusted the schedule and was so flexible the entire event. He made sure everything got accomplished on our packed agenda. My husband and I feel so fortunate to have worked with beat squad entertainment for our wedding. Not only is Ben the nicest guy around, he is also very responsive, personable, and really wants your wedding day to be everything it should be.
Kyle was our DJ on our wedding day, and he was AWESOME! Everything ran so smoothly and he made sure there were speakers in every entertainment space throughout our very large venue so that nothing was missed.
I was a bit skeptical with the timeline of events on the day of (only because I've never planned a wedding and wasn't sure how stuff ran), and leaving our meeting with Kyle and Ben put all my questions and confusion at ease. Kyle played a wide variety of music and kept the dance floor filled the whole night, and so many people came up to us after the wedding talking about how great the variety was and how much fun people had because of it! Kyle even had my 80 year old grandparents on the dance floor which I absolutely adored :)
I cannot recommend beat squad entertainment enough. Anyone you work with in this company will make your wedding day "the best day ever"!!!

Beat Squad came highly recommended to us and now we see why! From the very beginning, through all the planning leading up to the wedding day, Kyle was so easy to work with. He made the process a breeze! On our wedding day, he facilitated the timeline and kept it going (even when everyone in the wedding party was hard to pull away from the bar) to ensure that the entire night went smoothly. Beat Squad Entertainment did an absolutely amazing job at our wedding. We got married this past summer (June 2016). They were great from the day I contacted them with an inquiry about DJing our wedding until the day of our actual wedding. They got back to me in a very timely manner and worked with me in regards to DJing our wedding. They were able to accommodate us with having such a large wedding crowd, which was very nice! The day of our wedding was absolutely amazing. We had Malik Tuck DJing and he was absolutely fantastic. I personally received over 15 people going out of their way to compliment us on the DJ. I know Malik also had many people come up to him during the wedding, raving about the great job he was doing. He was able to mix in the songs we wanted to satisfy our family (oldies, etc.), but also current music that my husband and I preferred. He made his own art to the music to the point where people did not know when to go grab a drink or use the restroom because no one wanted to leave the dance floor. It sounds cliché, but my husband and I agree that we could not honestly have had a better experience with Beat Squad Entertainment, specifically Malik DJing. I have already recommended them to all my friends and family members who I know are getting married in the future! I have even had a few cousins tell me that they know who is going to DJ their wedding someday! Overall, I cannot thank them enough! I genuinely hope you choose this company. They treat you like family and do whatever they can to meet all of your needs. What’s the secret to keeping a party dancing all night long?
The secret is always the customer. You are the main focus for every event. As a DJ, I always do phone calls with my clients to figure out what kind of vibe they are trying to set for their party, and understand what they want from me. After that it's all about watching your crowd. People's energy will speak for itself when it comes to music.
How would you describe your ‘style’?
My style is undefined. I can adapt to many different situations because of the different type of events that I have done. I can rock a high school dance, a charity event, a wedding, or DJ a nightclub in Old Town. I pride myself on being versatile.
What do you love most about your job?
People. Point blank and simple. As much as I love music, I can sit In my room and listen to music all day by myself. Being able to help someone through music is the greatest joy in the world to me. Knowing I made someones birthday party great, or someones wedding better than they expected because I did my job as a DJ. Nothing beats that for me. With every event I want people to walk away never forgetting that night, or forgetting how good the music was.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I only want to do what I love. I have worked numerous jobs before and they didn't bring me any happiness. With having my own business I get to work with amazing clients, help out with different type of events, and meet different people every time. Its a win-win.
Why should our clients choose you?
Clients should choose me because Im going to care about their event just as much as they do. I make sure to set up phone calls so that first we can both get a feel for each other. Secondly so that I can understand exactly what it is that they want and how they want it, and if they need guidance, thats okay too! I want to help out as much as I can. For my clients I want them to feel as if they were working with a friend.
