Fall of the bone ribs oh and the burnt ends are like a magical experience to my taste buds with the sweet bbq sauce. This place is pretty darn good! It beats any bbq restaurant in the CSRA.You order over the counter. You are in charge of getting your own sauce and drinks. You get a lot of food for the price! The green beans are delicious. Tried this place while visiting SC thanks to other reviewers. Small and unassuming from the outside but the BBQ was great! Coming from Texas, I didn't want to try the brisket. I had the two meat plate with pork BBQ and ribs. Both were solid! For sides I had mac n cheese and hash. Again, both were solid. BBQ Barn is a good bbq joint. It is nothing fancy. Good selections of meats and sides. Prices are excellent. They have a drive through, pick up and eat in business. Served in styfoam and plastic utensils. Have to get your own drink. Have to get your own sauces. Area to sit in is clean and basic. We also cleaned up the table and discarded trash. If you want fancy, I don't recommend. If you want good bbq this is the place. For this visit had pork, chicken, baked beans and potato salad with sweet tea. More...

Ribs fell off the bone, but didn't have much flavor. BBQ was good. Half a chicken was good, except white meat was dry, but I'm a dark meat fan. Mac and cheese was good, but would pass on the hash. Banana pudding wasn't great, give it 2 stars, and the shortcake was actually a cake. Maybe that's how they do it in the south? Wouldn't bother going back if I lived locally. More...

I'm certain my $20 would have been better spent if I had just set it on fire.I ordered the two meat sampler special two meats, two sides and drink. Plus a slice of strawberry cake. The fries cold and old even though I asked for hot ones, the ribs was barely 3 bones and the driest half chicken ever. The only thing worth chewing without needing a gallon of water was the baked beans. The lemonade was sugar water with lemon juice. The cake was even dry. I have found my BBQ go to place for Augusta, GA. The experience was top notch from start to finish. This is an order at counter restaurant. We were looking at the menu trying to decide what to order when an employee approached us and helped us decided. Maybe we have the same taste in food but we were exceptionally happy with our choices. We decided to share a 4 meat platter with ribs, brisket, burnt ends, and chopped pork. I think I found hog heaven with every bite. We were so pleased with the full experience. We ordered quickly, paid quickly, seated quickly, got our food quickly, and enjoyed our meal!!If I return to Augusta, I know one of my stops will be to return here for another great meal. Big PIG sign ...can't miss it!Atmosphere is bright cool lights and open space with lots of old sign memorabilia. Service was swift, friendly and helpful. Order at counter and they will bring your food to the table. The cashier introduced me to their NEW sweet chili BBQ sauce! Nice piquant vinegar and just right sweetness. I like it and mix it a little with their HOT sauce. I'm glad they're consistent with their 4 sauces. Mild / Hot mustard and regular. Really great sauce. Today was ordering the 1 meat and 2 sides. I just got the bbq pork and double sides of hash/rice. I like the light flavors of the smokiness and moist morsels taste of meat itself. Add sauce that works best for you. Jody was out on July 2 at noon working the car line orders. The line was not too long. I imagine it will get longer as people get off for the long weekend. They had everything. Ribs, chicken and pork were what we bought, in bulk. Also tried sides of Mac n cheese, potato salad, slaw, and green beans. Soft golden bread and various milder sauces added to my order gratis. Also picked up 2 strawberry shortcakes and 2 classic chocolate cakes, by the slice.My thoughts? Everything was very delicious-ribs juicy and flavorful. Chicken and pork solid and not too salty. This Q is done right and if you use their sauces in moderation as a condiment and don't drown the meat, you will be in for a real treat. Sides are all basic and consistent. Bread was fantastic. Desserts are a must. And value. It was $80 for all that food. Packaged very well for the car. BBQ and hash and rice used to be awesome. Now, the BBQ has no flavor like it has been smoked and too ground up. Then my quart of hash and rice was full of water ! Nobody bothered to drain the rice when it was done ?? I am not a fan any longer. Collards were good but the stalks were still in them.
