Jen did a great show for my son's 1st birthday. The kids were so amazed with her "real magic!" and enjoyed the show.She was able to capture the attention of 2-6 year olds for the duration of the show and entertain them. ..Perfectly planned show with enough time to make them each a balloon animal. Variety of costume & choices to offer and rates were also reasonable.We initially told her clown and at party Jen came up with idea of dressing  up in jungle safari theme matching with our theme and that was real quick and nice. "Tutu" the friendly clown was a HUGE hit at our kids' party yesterday! Â She was exciting, engaging, inclusive ... she had all of the kids attention from the very beginning and everyone had so much fun - adults included! Â I can't imagine having another kid birthday without her - I highly recommend her! Â In addition to being a great entertainer, she was very professional on the business side, with clear communication, expectation setting, and fee payment options. This entertainer was fabulous today at my grandson's 4th birthday party. Jen held the 2-5 year old kids and their parents in the palm of her hand. She was so sweet and conversant with each child as she efficiently painted about 15 little faces. Her magic show was engaging and her sidebars with the children were hilarious. She ended with special request balloon creations for everyone. Given that his birthday is right before Halloween, the guests were all costumed and my grandson was Luke Skywalker. It was a party for my 3 year old son and we had kids ranging from 2 to 6. Jen was terrific and kept the kids engaged throughout her stay. She went with the b'day theme and came dressed up as race car driver for the party. She was punctual. The younger kids lost some interest during the puppet story time but had lots of fun with the parachute and balloons. She was easy to work with and I would definitely recommend her. More...

I cannot recommend this company enough! You actually get a professional actress for your party entertainment and someone who actually plays the part of whatever character you choose, rather than just a person in a costume who face paints or makes balloons, which makes it so much more special for kids. I had a great experience working with Jen, the owner. Everything is clear and organized from booking through to final arrangements. I will definitely use Bay Area Birthdays again! More...

Jen did a great show for my son's 6th birthday at his preschool today. The kids were so amazed with her "real magic!" The kids and grown ups really enjoyed the show and the kids would not stop talking about it. She was able to capture the attention of 4-6 year olds for the duration of the show and entertain them...this is not an easy task!Perfectly planned show with enough time to make them each a balloon animal. We hired Jen, the owner of Bay Area Birthdays as a professional princess for our daughters 3rd bday party. We had not met Jen in person but she was available via phone to answer our questions. She seemed very friendly and willing to answer our never ending questions, and she even emailed us photos of her costume upon request. Part of the reason why is because her website did not have much information and did not showcase the photo of the princess we were booking, "Queen Elsa" but out of all other vendors for "professional princesses," Jen was the first to respond, very responsive as we sent many messages back and forth, and was the best priced as well. When we finally booked, I felt comfortable and was so excited leading up to the party because we were having Queen Elsa at our party!!! She was very organized, kept the details in place, and was very professional at the party. She did a sing along, a magic show, and balloon animals and kept the kids entertained and it was quite challenging as some of our guests had already started taking shots in the back of the room and could have easily distracted a performer.
