What do you love most about your job?
I love the opportunity to work with a wide variety of people and to produce a video product that delights them. The creativity possibilities in video are endless and continue to make the job interesting.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I was inspired to get into videography because of the poor quality of the videos from my children's graduation and other school performances. I knew it should be possible to create a quality video product that didn't cost an arm and a leg. I also knew that quality video requires more work than just showing up and pointing a camera at the performance. It requires planning, an understanding of the needs of the job, and a genuine enjoyment of whatever is being filmed.

I strive to meet my client's needs and desires while still bringing a creative approach to the process. Because every client is important, I endeavor to work with one client at a time, finishing that work before beginning a new job. This puts the client foremost in my agenda.
Event videography
End-to-end recording of weddings, funerals, concerts, awards presentations, etc. Creation of full video of event plus short highlight video posted online.
Instructional Videography
Creation of video showing how to perform a certain task
Video editing
Editing previously-recorded video footage for use in web-based or broadcast commercials. Services include music overlay, adding titles and other graphics, color correction, image stabilization, etc.
VHS tape conversion
Conversion of (non-copyrighted) VHS tapes to DVD or digital USB drive. Additional services can include reframing to widescreen, adding graphics and titles, etc.
35mm slide scanning
Scanning of 35mm slides to digital format. Services include color correction (restoring faded images - die color shifts cannot be totally corrected), scratch removal, etc.
