On Oct. 28th, I was fortunate to get in with Rebecca for a special portrait session at her light and airy studio in downtown Anchorage on the corner of 4th and A St. My project partner and I were on a deadline and needed a portrait for our first publication together. Let's be clear: the first contact I made with Rebecca regarding the session details and request was incredibly efficient; she asks all the right questions with gentle compassion while accurately planning out your vision. This isn't a coincidence; Rebecca's passion in photography is family, toddler, and newborn, so her communication skill-set is very accommodating, empathetic, and creative.

Anyways, my partner and I were in a pinch and the work Rebecca was able to deliver was more than anything I could have ever imagined. After all, it was our first published toddler book and the memory she was able to capture with our creator portrait was so perfect. Between her advanced camera techniques, experience with FLATTERING body positioning, and the right amount of elegant lighting, she's the best photographer in Anchorage that you haven't worked with yet.

Also, Rebecca loves the central Alaskan community, and she'll occasionally put together some package deals to give back. I would highly recommend getting in with her to scope out what your next family heirloom photo session will look like, or in my case, a portrait you'll get to see and still be in love with forever.
