Got a beautiful bouquet for my birthday!! Thank you, Regan, cuz I know it was you ;)Oh my gosh, I read the reviews seconds after I posted my 5 star review. I don't know what has happened but I read below that the owner wrote something very unprofessional, however when I looked on FB, what I saw looked very appropriate so my five stars remain: "Thank you for the polite way you have inquired about this. We have always had a diverse group of employees, I’m sure if you have been in our store you would have been helped by a variety of people. We have not wanted to disparage this employee even though many hurtful and untrue claims have been made about us. The decision to terminate was based on standard business practices such as punctually and attendance among others. He has not reached out in any official way to address this, he instead posted inflammatory statements on social media and encouraged people to call me and text me with threats. We have spoken with an attorney and are hoping he will address this in an official manner instead through social media harassment. I called this morning and spoke to Heather about sending my wife flowers today before 3pm. I ordered the Skagit Valley Tulip bouquet, Heather placed me on a brief hold to verify with her driver a time that they could go out and was able to get them delivered sooner than expected. I placed the order at 9:30 and they have already been delivered at 11am. I want to thank Ballard Blossom but most importantly Heather for making my wife's day. Very happy with the flawless service. Ordered flowers online for a family member in Seattle and they kept me informed along the way. I loved the floral categories on their website. Very helpful to have "Get Well," "Happy Birthday," etc. I noticed that some other florists had  artistic, hipster websites but they were totally lacking in descriptions. This company has  exceed my expectations in floral delivery and customer service. If my experience ( which ' I'll detail next ) is what they do daily for every customer , they got my business forever. I learned my niece had a horrific accident and was flown to  harborview medical center * in Seattle Washington. I began to check yelp for local florist and many populated the search .I came across " Ballard blossom " .searched the website viewing arrangements ,found one and called to see if they served the area ' I was told they could accommodate the order and delivery,  was also , told that they would verify with the hospital before delivery and I would recieve a notification of the order going out and once delivered.about 20 minutes after placing the order I got a phone from them explaining that they contacted the hospital and currently my niece could not have flowers in her room and that they would recheck the next day with the hospital to see if things have changed . Being in southern cali ' I had to trust this would happen , the next day , I got another call and they stated the delivery was going to happen , but before the delivery was sent " my niece was released from the hospital . I get a phone call that aftetnoon , from Ballard blossom * that they contacted the hospital and had found my niece was released and did I have a secondary address . I provided the address and was resured that after mothers day deliverys my order would be taken to the new address . Well I got that shipping and receiving notification  this afternoon . I've been here twice now.  About a year ago I just walked in to get some flowers for my daughter's birthday.  I had no idea what I wanted.  None at all. I figured I'd just go in and ask for help.  Everyone in there was so friendly.  I told them what I was doing, told them her favorite colors, and how old she was and they put together a great little bouquet for my girl.  And the smile on her face when I gave her the flowers was perfect.  A couple of weeks ago was the daddy daughter dance.  I called on a Thursday to see if I could get a small wrist corsage done by Saturday.  Again...no freakin clue what I wanted other than her dress was pink and yellow for the Aloha theme and I wanted it to go with those colors.  They killed it!  It was beautiful and looked perfect with my girls dress.  Admittedly I reached out to a couple other florists for the corsage but Ballard Blossoms got my business because they were the most friendly.  This crew has my business going forward. My husband sent me anniversary flowers from another florist and, well, let's just say that they were not as expected.   When I told him that I thought that the other florist had (grossly) overcharged him based upon what was received, he decided to send a replacement assortment from Ballard Blossom.  Unlike the initial arrangement from (other florist) the Ballard Blossom arrangement was beautiful.  I received it within a few hours of when his order was placed.  This arrangement was much more in line with what my husband and I would expect from a quality florist. I'm in Oklahoma. Family death in Seattle. I called Ballard's about rose sprays for the immediate female family members & single rose boutonnieres for the immediate family male members. The person who helped me on the phone was patient and willing to hear the description of exactly what I imagined would work best: I asked for black tape wrapping of the stems and narrow black ribbon streamers. The flowers arrived at the Seattle residence the day before I arrived; each was exactly as I had pictured in my mind. They were perfect in every detail, reasonably priced, and Ballard's staff working with me over the phone were kind and attentive even though the total price for 3 men's and 3 women's was a mere $121.00 including the delivery fee. They did a great job to create the bouquets, communicate with me about what I wanted, and setup the flowers to survive the day without trouble. Ballard Blossoms is wonderful!  We live on the East Coast and ordered flowers for my cousin in the hospital in Seattle.  Ballard Blossoms emailed us to let us know she was on a floor which didn't allow flower deliveries, but they would call the hospital each day so they could deliver the flowers if she was moved to a different floor.  My cousin wasn't moved, and Ballard emailed the day she was discharged to offer to deliver them to her home (or we could have received a refund).  Since she lived a couple hours away, we asked if they could arrange to have a florist in her town deliver them, and they were happy to do that.  The flowers were just as requested.  Ballard Blossoms staff were thoughtful, responsive, and a delight to deal with. I needed to order same-day delivery flowers for my mom-in-law. I called Ballard's around 10AM and a nice gentleman picked up the phone. I asked him if it would be easier for me to order myself online, but he was so kind to just take my order over the phone. His customer service was beyond EXCELLENT. He was so patient, answering all of my questions, and making sure the order was just what I wanted. My mom received the flowers by 1:30pm (downtown Seattle) and they are BEAUTIFUL! She sent us a picture, and they are top-quality! I received an email confirmation after I placed the order and then again when they were delivered. My son ordered a corsage for homecoming from QFC that was very basic 3 tiny roses. The morning before his dance we received a message from the QFC floral manager that she was canceling his order because she didn't have enough roses! !!!!!  Not a message to call back and figure out a solution but just cancelling his order!!!!  Once I heard message I immediately called Ballard Blossom. I've ordered a few things from them over the years and always LOVED their quality and creativity. I spoke to a gentleman and told him what happened.  This was Friday afternoon and he needed the corsage Saturday AM. I made my bridesmaid's bouquets out of silk flowers, but I got a little bit anxious about my own, real flower bouquet. I waited until 4 days before the wedding to order, but Sarah was super understanding and made me the most beautiful, perfect bouquet from a variety of succulents and thistles. She also set aside the extra foliage so that I could use it for my groomsmen's boutonnieres, and even left the roots on the succulents so that I could pot them for a lasting keepsake.
