I had made purchases here before, but they were all to give as gifts. Lol I never got to try the goods myself. lol  My Mom loves cannoli.  She lives up north and there are not really any places to get a good cannoli.  So I stopped to get some goodies on Saturday morning.  I grabbed Cannoli, Chocolate Eclairs, and a variety pack of cheesecake bites (cherry, blueberry, and peach).  Each one was delicious and fresh!  The cannoli was filled to order!  No soggy bottoms here!!  There really is nothing worse than holding a cannoli, going to take a bite, and you can instantly tell it was filled hours ago, or even the day before.  When I ordered, the guy asked if I wanted chocolate chips on the ends.   They even held up when we cute them in half.  They were great!  The eclairs were proper choux pastry with custard, not vanilla pudding.  Exactly as they should be!  The cheesecake bites were also a hit.  I personally like my cheesecake to be more of a dry textured cheesecake, but these were still delish and everyone loved them!I have also purchased cream puffs and chicken pot pie here and those who I have given them to have really liked them. I stumbled across this little bakery as I was on my way to pick up tacos in the same strip mall. SO GLAD I DID! I got a few cookies for my daughter and the man asked me if I'd like to try a freshly made macaroon. Now, I was going to pass...man am I glad I didn't! I've had macaroons before and I've never been impressed and honestly never understood the hype with them. Well, well, well, let me tell you it's because I've never had one that tasted like these! I opted for the strawberry and it was out of this world! The cookie part was soft and chewy with a slight bite to it, and the middle was legit heaven....yes, it's that good. I'm not a big sweets eater and I literally went back a week later to buy some of the macaroons. Unfortunately they were in the middle of making more so I was unable to purchase any. I did grab an apple pie filled cupcake instead, and it was incredible. This place is a hidden gem. Please do yourself a favor and stop by. It's not the biggest bakery in town and it doesn't offer massive selections of baked goods, but the items they do offer are the best of the best. The time and love they put into the products they do sell is quite apparent. I can't wait to try some of the other goodies when I stop back in. The cheesecake here is to die for!  The reason for only 4 stars is really the woman that waited on me. Not very friendly or helpful. And she wasn't doing anything else!  I was there about noon on a Wednesday afternoon and no one else was in there.  Anyways, if you are a cheesecake lover you must come here. Today...March 5, 2019...Paczki Day. A solemn day for us Polish Catholics in the greater Detroit area. Can you get paczki at a grocery store? Sort of. Do they generally suck? You betcha. I go out of my way every year on this, as mentioned most solemn of occasions, to find good, authentic Polish paczki. In years past I would go to Utica Heights Bakery where Elizabeth would put her Polish miłość into her paczki dough, proof them with care, stuff them until they are overfilling and then expertly glaze them to perfection.Then, unfortunately because of circumstances beyond her control, Utica Heights Bakery went out of business. I was lost in a sea of store bought jelly doughnuts...adrift without a lard infused life preserver. Going down to Hamtramck was always an option, but the lines are always insane with Polish (and not so polish) folks lined up around the block and it's not right around the corner from my house.I was so excited to see a new owner move his business into this once shuttered Valhalla of Polish Paczki. I was a little skeptical at first but was quickly put at ease when I walked in and was overcome by the aroma that took me back to my days of being at my busha's house when she was making home made paczki. I ordered a dozen taking 2 raspberry, 2 cherry, 2 cream, 2 chocolate cream (my kids love them...but not too traditional), 2 blueberry and 2 strawberry.I took a few to my folks so that they could enjoy their treats before Lent kicks off tomorrow and me and my family proceeded to trade a few weeks of our lives for the deliciousness of deep fried dough filled with the goodness of fruit and custard preserves. What a treat!! They honestly are some of the best paczki that I have ever tasted. Even my very Polish and very traditional father made mention that he has had none better...and hes 81 years old.Seriously guys...fantastic product. Fantastic customer service (sorry to interrupt your dinner), and a location that is FAR FAR too close to my house for the comfort of my wardrobe. After finishing some delicious tacos from los tortugas next door the large sign advertising their cheese cake caught my eye. After walking in the smell simply amazing.  The gentleman working was very friendly and even gave us a couple samples of the mini cheesecake free of charge. Even with the first bite it certainly baked my day. Such a soft and creamy tasting cheesecake, and not overly sweet. I was sad to learn they have been at this location for 1.5 years, and I just discovered it. I look forward to trying their coffee cake next visit. More...

We continue to get complements every time we bring dessert for family outings or events!  My birthday cake was awesome in May. Today we called April at our Washington store and she is always taking care of us!!  We had a family Wedding Shower and needed more desserts and she was able to get us all set up with a few dozen of the bite size cheese cakes!!  They were a hit and we have to pass the complement to Bake My Day!!   Out of all 4 dessert the cheese cake was GONE!!  Of course we bought the spinach and cheese puff pastry to try.   We bought more meat pie and last time we had the other spinach pie.   Tony hummus is the best so I bought more again.  They have the pita chips also which are great with the hummus.  Oh, we bought 2 types of cookie to have with our coffee!  Everything made at this Bakery is made with best ingredients and like you would make at home with Love!!!   Thank you Don and Julie More...

This review is for the Washington Twp location on Van Dyke in Frontiertown.  Fantastic!!!  They have a very unusual coffe cake that I was reluctant to try but the kind and helpful employee strongly recommended it and WOW am I glad she did.  I brought it to church and everyone raved !  The Eclairs are the best I've ever had.
