My Background :
Received a degree in animal science and after many years training animals (both large and small animals) at zoos, animal shelters, pet resorts and all around Illinois, plus my experience working in the veterinary and pet insurance field, I offer more than just the basic dog training knowledge and experience.

What do you love most about your job?
I love watching pets’ and pet owners’ progress during our training lessons. Helping pet owners feel 10 X happier, more comfortable and satisfied with their pet and our training sessions is so rewarding!
What inspired you to start your own business?
My passion and talent for training and working with animals started since i was very young. After working in multiple companies with their rules and procedures, I realized it is much more rewarding and efficient for my clients and mysefl to train dogs with the techniques I knew worked best, and on my schedule so I started Back to Basics.

Basic Obedience
5 Basic Obedience - Proper leash walking, Sit, Stay, Come, Lay Down (On Leash), including potty training and house training.
Advanced Obedience
5 Basic Obedience - Proper Leash Walking, Sit, Stay, Come, Lay Down (On Leash and Off Leash) + Potty training, House Training + Socialization with people, other dogs and in high distraction environments
Behavior Modification
Advanced Obedience Training + customized training to reduce fear and anxiety, aggression, and/or dominant behavior.
Phone Consultations
Perfect for pet owners who want to train their pets themselves, and just need some extra guidance and help to put a game plan in place. Includes 1 follow up session per 30-45 minutes Phone Consultation.
