How can someone tell if their Garage is suitable for conversion?
If it is attached to the house it would generally be suitable for conversion. If it is not attached, then an email consultation with several photos emailed from the owner.
Run us through the different stages of the Garage conversion process - what's involved?
Clean entire inside of mold and mildew. Remove garage door. Remove concrete slab and set a new one lower in the ground so that an new insulated wood structure can be installed level with the existing house. Remove ceiling, if existing. Install knee wall at removed garage door and new windows. Install HVAC, electric and lighting. Install walls at perimeter with R 21 insulation. install r 49 in ceiling. Drywall walls and ceiling. install window and door trim. Then finished floor and base board. Paint and enjoy.

What inspired you to start your own business?
It's what architects do. From college the goal is always to open your own office. From graduate to post graduate work and a 3 year apprenticeship, the next step is to do your own thing.
