This Thanksgiving was a brutal one for most families - including mine. Not being able to be with my Mom and Stepdad (91 and 97 years old) and all of our extended family. My sisters family was going to my moms and my mom ordered a complete thanksgiving diner from Avenue Diner to feed them Then my nephew came down with a 103 degree fever on Thanksgiving Eve. Needless to say, my mom didn't need $150 worth of turkey dinner to eat alone. She called Avenue Diner and they were SO nice to her. They cancelled the order at 11am on Thanksgiving, when obviously they were already cooking it, AND they asked my mom if they could deliver a small complimentary meal to feed her and her husband. We ordered takeout with our daughters and grandkids. The food, as always, was perfectly seasoned and prepared, our order was exactly as ordered and pickup was a breeze! This place has been one of our favorites for quite a while. It’s great to see that they’re still providing the same top quality, reasonably priced meals!
