Talk to people. Find out what their likes and dislikes are. Knowing how light works helps too. Understanding the bonds between people and creating an environment to showcase it.
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
What does this event look like in your head? Generally speaking, women are more self-conscious about photos, so listening to what the needs and wants are of the person or people in front of you are, while giving them your undivided attention.
What do you love most about your job?
