I truly wanted to go to another sit down restaurant in the area. But we were short on time. So, my daughter said let’s go to ABC. We came in to have a quick 1/2 chicken salad sandwich and 1/2 balsamic blue Salad for lunch on a Thursday at 1:48. It was not busy. The place might have had 8 other customers in the place. We finally got our food at 2:16. The salad was good and the chicken Waldorf 1/2 was very small but it was good. It looked like they had 4 employees working. One guy walked around a lot, 1 guy took orders, 1 girl was working on a to go order and a women was making the other food. Stopped in to grab dinner on my way home from work last night, and get some muffins for my kids. It was 6:59 and I had no idea they closed at 7, so I turned to walk away, thinking I didn't want to be that jerk that shows up and orders right at closing 😀 The manager was so sweet and insisted I come in and order. My food was fresh and delicious. The manager and staff is friendly. The place is clean and organized, and bakery was well stocked. I got home and realized I forgot my kids muffins. Edit: Went back on 1/10 at 1pm and they were out of cubanos. Literally every time I go they're out of something. I give up. The first time I went, about a week after they opened, they were out of quite a few things. They were super friendly and helpful so I shrugged it off and assumed they were just trying to get in their groove. I went back a second time around Nov 6th at 11am with my 4 kids to meet my girlfriend and her two kids for lunch. All my kids wanted macaroni and cheese. They had none. At 11 am. Ok, so we order something else even though my kids were pretty bummed (kids live for Mac and cheese, just saying). I told them I would order them cookies to soften the blow but... You guessed it, out of both chocolates chip cookies and peanut butter cookies. Guys, it's 11 am and y'all are out of some very common items?! My friend ordered her kids chocolate chip cookies and they told her they were putting them in the oven and they'd be ready in 15 minutes. After eating (30-45 minutes since we sat down and got our food), we went up to get cookies! But... The employee never baked them. Us going up there to order these cookies was their reminder that they forgot so they told us they were putting them in the oven at that moment. Our kids weren't gonna wait any longer and that was assuming they were actually baking them at that moment. Sorry for the bad review. I really hate doing this but the closest ABC before this location was in Cumming and they were constantly out of items. Maybe it's a corporate thing? When I get my meals to go, I expect to get the food I paid for. I get home only 1 of 2 soups is in the bag. The sandwich was wrong and we were the only people in the store. Just went to Woodstock store. We were literally in there with no one else at the register and only one other person in the restaurant. I noticed the male cashier had dirty nails but blew it off. Order a half sandwich and soup. My husband ordered a soup bread bowl to go. It took a while to get no problem so far. Got our food and brought it home. We were short a soup and my half sandwich was wrong. I called back and ask to speak to the manager. The male with the dirty nails say he is the manger. I tell him what happened and he says let me see if I rang it in right. Well I did so I’ll talk to them. I am blown away that we could be the only people there and I didn’t get my soup and my half sandwich was wrong. I didn’t even wait for any other conversation. Everyone knows that airport food is generally trash but sometimes you just have to roll the dice and hope for the best. I placed a modest order that ended up costing about $20 for a sandwich and a side of chili. After waiting a bit, they called my name and handed me a sandwich. The wrong one, of course, and no chili. Presenting my recipe and the contents of the bag to the staff, I asked them to give me what I ordered. Instead, they mumbled while ignoring me. I realized that they only way to get relief for the situation would end in a conversation with airport security, I took my sandwich. Biting into it, I quickly realized it was inedible. I threw the sandwich away along with any hope of getting my money back. Stopped in at Gainesville location where I have been a customer for five years. They had a Gainesville Times newspaper beside the register and I decided to buy and they said it was 2. 00. I pointed out that the price on the paper stated 1.00. I was told the computer would only ring up as 2.00 and when I complained and declined to buy they were laughing when I turned my back and walked away. Very poor business practice. Dunwoody location. I have not eaten at Atlanta Bread Company in a long time, so today I ordered half butternut squash soup, which was not as good as it used to be but I would say fair. Half balsamic blue salad with grilled chicken. The salad was awful. First, the grilled chicken, apple and greens had to be cut up to be able to toss the salad. The lettuce was sad looking and to top it off there were no blue cheese crumbles. They charged me $1.00 more for the soup and $1.00 more for the salad, so my soup and salad was a $13.00 lunch and not worth half that. Amazing establishment in every way. A very modern, family friendly & work friendly environment to eat. The atmosphere is very casual, the music is always at just the right volume, and the food goes without saying! !! Greatest grilled cheese sandwich, muffin tops, and soups you’ll find in Aurora!
