The lamb burger and the environment are wonderful. Being in a little two-story building with a dining area upstairs is so cute. That said, space is limited, as is parking. Prices are reasonable. Athenian Grill is in a small building behind the laundromat in Chevy Chase. I ordered a Gyro and French fries. The Gyro was excellent, bulged with plenty of meat, tomato, and a delicious sauce on the side. The fries looked better than they were, since they seemed to have been coated with something before frying, and I prefer no coatings. They were not skimpy on the portions, though. Noticed they had several brands of cold beer as well as soft drinks and bottled water, but I passed on the beer since I was driving. There are a few tables inside, as well as outdoor tables with patio umbrellas. It's a good neighborhood place to meet for a bite to eat. I will definitely come back for another Gyro! More...

The Classic Gyro.... AMAZING!!! They also have LOTS of vegetarian options which is good. However, the amount you pay for the sauteed veggies vs. the amount you receive is ridiculous.
