What’s the secret to keeping a party dancing all night long?
I take input from those who hire me and know how to read the crowd. I also take requests. I play music in small "sets" (common genres, for example) to keep people dancing. Volume is appropriate and not too much chatter!
How would you describe your ‘style’?
Interactive but not obnoxious. My job as a DJ is not to be the star of the event--but to make those who should be the stars look good! I want people to listen when I am on the mic, so I try to keep announcements relevant
What do you love most about your job?
I love to make people happy! Being a DJ is all about service. It is wonderful that people trust me to make their event amazing for them! When the dance floor is full and people keep dancing, I know that it was a huge success!
What inspired you to start your own business?
I started in college...going to parties and deciding I could do better. I got a job at a local radio station and have been a single-operator DJ ever since.

I can do this but it is not my preference. It is very challenging to recreate what a DJ does on a small screen.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
I will follow any rules for Covid that are in place at the time, or requested by my clients.
Music
Music from Golden Oldies to what's hot right now. Pop, Rock, Country, Hip-Hop, Rap, Latin, Ballroom. If you want it, I can play it!
I provide my own sound system that can fill an intimate venue, large ballroom, or even outdoors.
Disco lights
Splashes of color make any event fun! Disco lights include a number of features including flashing spots, rotating beams, mirror ball, lasers, and fog that hit all parts of the dance floor.
Uplights
Columns of static color (don't change or flash) that can add pops to a boring room. Available to compliment many wedding colors.
Cold-Spark Sparklers
An awesome huge two-sparkler effect that generates no heat (safe indoors) and adds lots of WOW to your event.
Projector and screen rental
To share a video or slideshow at your event, I offer a projector and screen to rent.
Other effects
Confetti/Streamers--a single shot in specific or rainbow colors.
Custom Gobo--put your names or initials in lights on the wall or on the dance floor.
Follow Spotlight--Accent for your entrance or special dances
