Enrique is a very knowledgeable massage therapist. I was referred to him because I have tendonitis and also joint pains from a hard fall resulting in a broken wrist. He took his time and really got my circulation flowing. This was my first visit to @ease and it will certainly not be my last. I had an AMAZING massage with Lauren who was able to relieve the neck discomfort that I’d been experiencing due to cervical herniation. I don’t even know where to begin. I feel like I am a massage therapist connoisseur and very picky with where I go. Since moving to this area 11 years ago I’ve been to over a dozen spas to find the perfect therapist. I think today I found him at the spa and it ends up being right near my house so who’s better than me? Win-win!The place was comfortable and they had nice touches like a glass of water in your room before, aromatherapy, delicious chocolates when you’re leaving. The woman at the front desk was so pleasant and made signing in and checking out a non-issue, which it should be but some times at other spas I feel like I’m in a Dr office so I was happy that she made it smooth and easy.I prefer a deep tissue massage is and Enrique did just that. I went in for my knees and jaw but he ended up finding some knots in my left rotator cuff and really worked those out which I didn’t even realize I had a problem. But then I walked outside to my car and all of a sudden my knees don’t hurt anymore and I feel more straight than I have in a long time. He knows what he’s doing and I couldn’t say enough about if you have any pain or issues you should definitely try him before you go back to the doctor!I’m due for a double knee replacement soon but I think I’m going to be putting that off and trying monthly massages and stretches he showed me before getting the scalpel to my knees. I bought this on Groupon. I was completely impressed with this spa from the start. Starting with booking an appointment, to the front desk, to my therapist. The spa was tranquil, clean, and very nicely decorated. Lauren was my therapist. Lauren was perfect! Her pressure was hard at times and soft when needed, she did exactly what I asked for. What a great little hidden gem in Lake Como! Enrique is polite and very professional- I enjoyed my massage and really appreciated the time he took to explain how my job (I'm a seamstress) affects different muscles as well as explain stretches I can do to help my body out. Enrique, Lauren, and Staff were great!! I was welcomed with soothing essential aromas upon entering the establishment. Dimmly lit rooms while listening to the sounds of spa melodies, really put me on a level of relaxation! Lauren was so accommodating and professional! She listened to all areas of concern and paid attention to detail. I litterly fell asleep a few times during my session. The setting was unbelievable. I've been to a few places where the atmosphere and the constant loud noises was just completely unbearable to even go back. Had an hour deep tissue massage with Charles, hands down best massage I’ve had in my life. Very professional and clearly has extensive experience in his field. Was introduced to cupping, and was skeptical before the experience, but there is much more to it than what you normally hear about. Actually might be something I will request from here on out. You step into a very tranquil and relaxing place. Low lighting and candles burning everywhere. Required to complete a medical/health form with some rather personal questions when checking in. Escorted into a peaceful room and then further questions asked by masseuse. Not accustomed to this at most massage places! A little odd. Excellent massage by well trained masseuse, but I like to relax and the massuese kept talking and asking me questions the whole time. I recently booked a private event for a bachelorette party here and it was the best part of our night! The staff here is so friendly and booking was a delight! SO happy my fiance referred me to @ease Massage (he works down the street)! Enrique is AMAZING! This was my first massage ever, and my neck was KILLING me! 2 days later, and using the advice he gave me, and I feel almost 100%! I was so scared it was something worse, because the pain just kept getting worse and worse, but after visiting @ease Massage, it was clear my body just needed a GOOD massage...I would highly recommend them to anyone in the Jersey Shore area! Parking was great and the surrounding area is safe and quiet. The man who did my massage (sorry, forgot the name!) was very attentive to my needs. After the massage, he showed me certain stretches to do to help with my back and neck. I can't rave about this place enough! More...
