I mean, I cannot put into words the phenomenon that is SLIM COLOR. She is truly the best colorist in the universe and I feel so lucky to get to have my hair blessed by her magic. She's been doing my blonde-as-can-be hair for 8 or 9 years and it is still happy and healthy and long, despite being super fine. Seriously I heart Raphael. Aside from the fact that he has such a good soul and is such a mensch (For those of you who are not Jewish, mensch is a person of integrity and honor. .. good guy ) This guy is a TRUE artist. From the top of his head to the bottom of his toes you can feel the artistic integrity and creative fuel that drives him in his work. In fact I don't even think that this feels like work to him. Not surprisingly I found out that he has a background as an artist as well and I felt like he was creating art on my head. Aside from the fact that he has an amazing personality and is such a sweetheart, he is extremely skilled at his craft. The salon was crazy busy today especially right before the holidays and I never felt like he was rushed and I never felt like I wasn't important and I never felt like he was distracted. He took his time and every single hair was accounted for and carefully curated. I've had so many hair fiascoes in the past with other hairdressers and was weirdly calm when I was in his hands. Plus, I have been told that my hair is very difficult because I have so much of it and the texture is not curly but not straight so when people don't cut into it the right way it can really look like $!&@. As you can see from the photos he did an amazing job and I feel beautiful. I think this is one of his super powers aside from his technical skills. Anja’s color is the best in LA. I have had my color done at the most exceptional salons in LA and NY. She is hands down THE BEST. Anja and her assistant, Skylana, are warm without being intrusive. I feel taken care of from the moment I walk in the salon. Highly recommend Slim! I needed to get my hair done ASAP because my last colorist made me ashy which isn't what I wanted. Only one person you need to see here is SLIM!(Insta handle @slim_color). Forget anyone else, she is the one and only!I wanted to go lighter but am always afraid of the damage it can cause, and/or end up with lighter hair only to have to darken it again cause it's either a) not the color I envisioned or b) my hair starts breaking off and is fried. That's where Slim comes in, not only is she a color magician, she cares about the integrity of your hair. She isn't like other stylists that want to get you in and out and don't care if in a month your hair falls off/goes brassy/breaks, all of the above.Slim listens to what you want, goes over it with you to make sure you're on the same page, offers her expertise and takes her time to get you to where you want to be. Alexis Kyukendall is the greatest colorist / hair magician on the planet. Everyone else told me I had to cut my hair off, that it was a lost cause. A salon in NY had been dying it with some toxic color that I was allergic to and in my attempts to remove it I had destroyed it. I also didn't want it to be dark, I wanted light blue. She was like "ok, we can do this". She lightened it, did a Brazilian treatment, colored it a lovely blue, added a few extensions & I had the hair of my dreams. I've been going to her for a year now and she always manages to give me exactly what I want. She is also an incredibly lovely person, inside & out. When my stylist Meli told me she would be moving from Pasadena to a new salon in Beverly Hills, it was a no-brainer for me. I've gone through enough stylists to know that when you find a good one, stick with them!! I immediately scheduled an appt at her new location Ramirez Tran, and was so impressed by how easy it was to find the location and parking attendant is great. I had never gotten my hair professionally dyed before and was a little apprehensive that it would turn out badly, be too much, or just look weird. I have found my person and I travel to wherever she is. The colorist/hair stylist/therapist/hair guru extraordinaire Christine Chavez is beyond brilliant! I can't say enough positive things about Christine.She is very kind, professional, punctual, creative, and truly is an expert in her craft! I feel so lucky to have found her!!! I came into Ramirez Tran salon with damaged hair from years of going to colorists who didn't know what they were doing. I found Erycka Ferreti on Instagram and was immediately drawn to her attention to detail. I walked in as a color correction and walked out feeling so relieved that I found someone I can trust with my hair color. The appointment does take a while, but it is worth every minute because during that time she is perfecting your color at every stage of the process. I came in with my hair looking like a multicolored bleach and dye box wreck and she transformed my hair into epic and amazing Gandalf looking, white haired awesome-ness! Before coming here, I had a horrrrrible experience at Chaz Dean Salon. My hair & my sanity needed saving. Andrea and an assistant colored my hair first, then Erica D. cut my hair! I appreciate how communicative and knowledgeable my team was. I came prepared with pictures of my hair journey and where I want to end up. They asked a lot of questions and verified what I wanted before doing anything (which I appreciated). Also, I was told what I was going to look like walking out.. without a doubt that it was going to be true. Since my hair is pretty damaged from previous treatments, my roots didn't take to the first round of darkening.. after notifying Andrea that I wasn't happy with how it turned out and would like it to go darker, I was immediately told she could fix it. I went here to get my hair coloured and had an amazing experience. The staff are super helpful and attentive. They made sure I always had coffee/tea/ water and listened to all of my questions and concerns for my new colour. My colourist was Erycka Ferreti, she took her time making sure my hair was conditioned and treated between each bleaching session, super important for my dark hair, and she managed a minor miracle getting out the previous colour and reinventing it into something new. She also was great to talk to, making the hours fly by. She also gave me a bunch of advice on hair care, great products to use, and how to maintain the colour vibrancy and longevity. She was also crazy flexible working me into the schedule at a time that fit my life. The salon is great, super comfy with a great food service that comes through, and all the staff and assistants were gems making this one of the best hair salon experiences I've had. I've been coming to see Erycka Ferreti for color for 3 years now and I can say with confidence: I will never trust anyone else with my hair as much as I do with her. Erycka brought my hair from a complete mess that needed a 9 hour color correction to the most beautiful natural highlights. I look forward to coming here like a kid going to Disneyland! It's more than a cut and color the entire experience it's like spending a day at the spa. They have the best service and the cappuccinos are better than some cafes in the area. Grace is the colorist, the person who cuts, and genius behind the chair! She not only makes me look like a million bucks she cares about my hairs health and making sure I walk away in better condition then how I came in to the salon. On top of the fact that they take excellent care of their clients they also provide the worlds best products to purchase. This salons prices are on the high end after all it's Beverly Hills and you're paying for what you get. I can guarantee that it's the most well spent money. The 5 start is not enough for the amazing staff of Ramirez Tran ! Specially for Ariana Garcia who is truly the the queen for balayage. The salon is classic, sophisticated, clean with a busy atmosphere...and affordable price, I mean you pay for what you get. They have different talented stylist and colorist each one with their own speciality/technique that would make things kinda difficult when deciding who to trust for your hair needs ..
