I had a wonderful massage with May. I had pain in my neck and shoulders and May gave a great deep tissue massage and really worked out the knots in the muscle. I can move my head around now and the pain is almost gone. The atmosphere was nice and comfortable. I was given advice on how to stretch the muscles so that I could help reduce any injuries in the future. She really focused on my needs and I left extremely relaxed. I arrived in Portland on Thursday night for a three day conference. I managed to twist something traveling that day and by Saturday could barely turn my head to drive. I was desperate to get some relief or I would not have gone to a random massage parlor. I figured that even a mediocre and over priced massage would be better than the shooting pain. So I used the yelp search functionality for places that would be able to get me in after seven pm. May had positive reviews and I called. How fortunate that she could get me in! Even though it was late Saturday evening she took her time with me. It was an excellent massage and experience. I felt that she really cared about my pain and getting me relief. She tried a few techniques that I have not had before including cupping. Beware, this will leave ugly marks on your skin for a week. She gave a few exercises to try to help loosen the tight muscles for after care. I did experience relief! I would definitely recommend May! She was concerned, dedicated and capable. It was reasonably priced as well. I've visited my chiropractor a few times since and he was surprised that as bad as I was, I said I had been worse over the weekend. Extremely good massage, I've had at least a dozen massages from small places like this to resorts at 4 times the price. Was able to get an appointment same day, when everyone else I tried was booked. Was interrupted twice by the phone and once by the door but the therapist apologized and handled as quickly and quietly as possible. Hopefully they will address this in the future. More...

I totally agree,  Mary is the best.  Very professional and cute as well, good techniques and right amount of pressure.  The only thing that I didn't like was was the lotion or oil that she uses which smells like banana extract which made me smelled like one of those banana flavored candies.  Hopefully she is still there.  I haven't been back for almost 2 years.  Hope they have more cute masseuse like her as well. I had a massage this evening on my way home from Portland at Asian Touch Massage and it was amazing!! Could not have felt more comfortable and relaxed on my way home. May gives the best deep tissue massage that I've ever had and I sure miss her not being local to the peninsula. On a scale of one to five stars I'd give her a six it was that good. May really is good at what she does! If you have tight spots, or injuries she knows how to work with you to help you on the path to healing. I prefer massages that are designed to do something, to break down the damaged tissues, and although you might feel sore the next day over time your body starts to heal. She's right across the street from Les Schwab. So, if you can arrange it so that you get a massage while your car is being worked on, then you're a genius!! My wife and I came here to celebrate our anniversary with couples massages, and this is by far the best we have ever had. Scheduling the massages over the phone was easy . Prices are fair.
