I am an independent photographer in the central Illinois area. I have photographed senior pictures, engagement sessions, family portraits, pet sessions, and have just started in weddings. I typically edit the photos I take and give them to my clients on a USB drive with printing rights.

My family is scattered all around and when I finally got them all together and made plans with Ashleigh to get pictures done, she was very helpful in making plans! The day we were supposed to do this, more issues arose and Ashleigh was very helpful. Along with her amazing communication skills, she is also very talented and takes amazing pictures! Ashleigh did a number of family shots for us, and the results were great. What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?
Ensuring that the client is having fun and relaxed. If their not relaxed, pictures look stiff and unnatural.
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
Do you have any props you want to include in your photos? What types of photos are you looking for? What format are you wanting to receive your photos?
What do you love most about your job?
Meeting new people and helping them capture their special memories.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I love taking pictures. If I could I would do it full time. I am never without a camera of some sort and take pictures daily.
Why should our clients choose you?
I am flexible with pricing and products. I want them to enjoy both the time we spend taking the photos, but also the photos themselves. A great photo tells a story. Let's tell one together.
