What makes a great website?
A great website consists of a beautiful user interface that is intuitive and easy to navigate. The most important aspect however, is the speed of the website. This is why it is incredibly important to choose a talented developer who can write your website in as much custom code as possible. The template options are good, but they are often slower than a custom solution and there are limitations to design.
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
What is your budget? This is important because a custom solution is generally more expensive. Building a site that is based on a template is more affordable but has it's limitations.
What do you love most about your job?
I love building cool stuff, I always have. Building things is the best thing about life.
What inspired you to start your own business?
The advancements in technology in my life time have been amazing. I decided that I wanted to get out of finance and create a career in technology. I simply want to build the future.

Financial Consulting
Although we at Alder mostly focus on software, our founder, Douglas Schwartz has been in the finance world for as long as he can remember. He has lived and breathed finance and business since a very young age. Douglas took my first accounting class in High school and while everyone else was taking fun electives in high school and college Mr. Schwartz was taking challenging business and finance courses.
Douglas passed the first two levels of the CFA program which are the hardest exams on planet earth according to many. He never sat for the final exam because Douglas left his job in the world of high finance to pursue a startup instead, hence Asgard Technologies Company was born. Douglas has spent the last six years building apps, websites, blockchain software, building artificially intelligent machines and doing venture capital deals. All of his previous experience in the world of finance and technology has proved to serve Douglas very well especially with the new pursuit of AI.
