From Braids to color correction Barbara and her team are amazing. I spent hundreds of dollars on color several times and NEVER left the salon with what I wanted. This place was a great experience. I've been going to the same hair place for years. I was a little hesitant at first to make the change but I wanted to try my friend Sarah out. I'm so glad I did!! I love how friendly everyone was and they actually care to take the time to care for my hair. Currently I'm repairing my hair color and it's going great. I can't wait for the end results. I love that they know their products and tell me what they are using in my hair. I totally recommend this place if your looking for a friendly atmosphere and  for a place that knows about hair, and cares to meet what your wanting done on your hair. Not a big writer of reviews but I just had too!  I had my hair cut, highlighted and styled by Sarah. She did an amazing job! ! I am definitely going to be a repeat customer as a matter of fact I already have my touch up appt! This location is easy to find with plenty of parking. The inside is so nice and clean. Havent had a hair it in almost 3 years and needed a fresh cut. But I am terrified to trust anyone with my hair (hence the time of no cuts). ...but I trusted Sarah M. With my hair and omg!!! I came to Artistic Hair not knowing what to expect. I had gotten a terrible color job from another salon and needed someone to fix it. Sivanna worked me into her schedule and knew exactly how to fix my hair. I've been coming back to her for almost a year now. I've been coming to artistic hair for a little over a year now and love it! Sivana is my hair stylist and is awesome! She listens to exactly what you want and always delivers. Sivana did an amazing job on my hair.  She is extremely attentive and just has such a bright energy - it makes it easy because she's such a great listener and is very experienced. I think what's also nice is that she is realistic. I wanted to go blonde.. and she walked me through the entire process. Kylie helped me out with a bang trim and blow out this morning, and it was perfect. I sent a text last night, (I know, I know, shame on me) to see if there might be a spot available this morning. Barbara quickly responded and got me in, first thing. I'm so thankful. I really enjoyed my experience. And it might be that I'm exhausted from being a new mom, but I swear to god, that shampoo was the most relaxing thing ever. I almost asked her if she would just let me nap there, it was so good. I went to Kylie today and she was PHENOMENAL. She was so patient with me with trying to get the color I wanted. My hair was almost black and she was able to make it into a honey brown in one session! Artistic hair SAVED a horrible at home bleach attempt I foolishly thought I could do myself(I know, I know...never again). I had box dyed black hair and natural roots. I attempted to lighten it but ended up with (still) black hair and orange roots. I couldn't go anywhere in public until I fixed my mistake! I called artistic hair as soon as they opened on a Saturday and immediately they brought me in for a consultation to give me pricing and take on the challenge-I really appreciated their thorough explanations and honesty in the consult! We decided to to a color correct to brunette and they talked me through everything until I understood the approach, made sure I was ok with every decision we made, even making sure I ate lunch since I was there for several hours. The owner was incredibly sweet, patient and informative. We made a game plan to recover my hair and take baby steps to get the colored hair I really want. I can't believe all the compliments I have gotten on my haircut and highlights since I had Sivana do my hair.  I had been having issues on getting it how I wanted it for a long time even though i took pictures with me and explained it over and over.  I wanted it to be a medium brown with blonde highlights throughout.  The styists I had been using had all made it a one color blonde! Sivana really asked a lot of questions and examined the picture I brought.  Not only was she very professional she was totally fun to talk to as well and the time flew by.  When it was done I could not believe it was exactly how I wanted it and it duplicated the picture to a tee. i couldn't have been more pleased.  My boyfriend, who doesn't like me to really mess with my hair and likes it blonde, thought it was the best color and cut I had ever gotten. Every time he sees me, he has to comment on how fabulous my hair looks!!!! For my 50th birthday, I wanted a brand-new look. I've always wanted purple hair, so I wanted it to be purple enough for me to enjoy but tame enough that my employer wouldn't freak out. After reading Yelp reviews and seeing the photos of their work, I decided to give Artistic Hair a try. I was put in touch with Cherie and I sent her a photo of model sporting the black hair with purple highlights I was hoping to end up with. While at Artistic Hair, Cherie asked me more questions which helped give her a clearer idea of the shade of purple I really wanted and how intense. The results are EXACTLY the look I was hoping for! When I am outdoors in the sun or directly under a light, the purple really pops, but when I am at work, the look is not as dramatic so my bosses are okay with it. I have received so many compliments and everyone has said what an amazing job Cherie did. I completely agree! Cherie also coached me on how to maintain the colour and health of my hair, which I have been following faithfully. It has been over 2 weeks and the purple is still vivid. Updating my review! I came here about 3 months ago for some subtle highlights, and then returned again to make my balayage lighter and to layer my hair. Making an appointment with Cherie was so easy, and she is just so fun and sweet! She explained everything to me because I was so nervous about the possibility of my hair being too light. She also let me look through a toner book so that we were on the same page about the final color I wanted. She worked five hard hours on my hair, and I loved the end product! Thank you, Cherie! If you want your hair done right, SIVANA is the one to go to. Not only is she one of the most kind-hearted and lovely people you're likely to meet, but she will listen to exactly what you want, and give it to you! Ever since moving back to Orange County almost three years ago, I haven't been able to find a hair stylist who understands my hair type and tailors my wants to ensure I leave the salon as happy and satisfied as possible. That has all changed, now that I've met Sivana. She took a less than fabulous haircut that I had been unhappy with from a previous experience, and gave me exactly what I wanted, and exactly what my hair needed! My hair immediately felt lighter, and she managed to fix all of the unwanted choppiness and split ends I had acquired. I had been looking for a salon for awhile and looked on yelp and found Artistic Hair. Reviews were great and the person that stood out to me was Amanda. I love how she makes me feel and how she makes me look. I don't have to look any further I have found a great stylist. Amanda is honest and she takes her time to make sure I am happy with what she is doing. She does beautiful color. I really appreciate her and how giving she is. I hit the jackpot. OMGOODNESS!!!!I'M SOOOOO THRILLED WITH MY HAIR. I came to Cherie with a bad color job. She knew exactly what to do to fix it. It wasn't easy as my bad color job was purple which faded so badly it was about 6 different colors. She fixed it right up. I was worried because I had just had my hair done about a month prior bleaching and the whole 9. Cherie was extremely knowledgeable in the Redken products and  used some of them on my hair. It feels amazing...  Doesnt feel damaged at all. It's now one beautiful vibrant color Purple. She also helped me with a hair regime that will help bring my hair back to a healthy state. My hair is EXACTLY what I wanted. I'm soooo pleased...  I'll definitely be going back and referring all of my friends here. The shop is also well decorated. Lovely place! I had been meaning to get a haircut but didn't know where to go and I happened to yelp this place after my daughters doctor visit. We walked in and the front desk receptionist was very nice to assist us and we were helped less than 15 minutes. Chelsea (I think it's spelt different) was our hairstylist and she was so sweet. I recently went in as a dark brunette and she did a balyage and I'm now light brown and I love it. I love this salon! The atmosphere is cute and clean. My hair dresser Jaclyn is awesome! I have very thick and curly hair and she knows how to do it. I am very picky about getting my hair done and I love it every time. I highly recommend Jaclyn. It's the best feeling knowing my hair will be fabulous when it's done. A coworker recommended me this salon and I had an appointment with Sivana and I absolutely loved it. Boy am I happy to have come across this place. I have been living just next door from Artistic Hair for 4 years and after passing it everyday on my way back from work I finally decided to give it a shot. Showed up in the morning hoping to get a slot and not only was I quickly accommodated but I was taken care of by an angel. Sivana is the hairstylist I have been looking for and to my surprise she had been right next door.Sivana is truly a sweetheart! She's fun, kind, gentil, gorgeous, talented - she's just really great all around! She was extremely attentive to what I desired and just overall carried out this illuminating presence from start to end.  I had been avoiding going to the hair salon for about 10 months (due to my inability to be patient and sit still) so my hair needed work to say the least.
