I am trying to make this short and sweet however I had a very great experience with Alaina ! She took photos of my son for his second birthday photo shoot and she was so sweet and fun that my son opened up to her right away and even cooperated! She was very professional and set up quick. I can’t thank her enough for capturing a very important milestone in mine and my sons life! To be able to look back and have This memory is everything! What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?
My philosophy is "capturing life as you live it". Whether that be poised and polished, or unplanned and imperfect. The secret to a great photos is raw emotion, caught when you least expect it. That way, when you look back at the photo, you'll feel that same emotion again and again through the ages.
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
What kind of mood are you looking to capture? Where and how do you feel most comfortable and authentic?
What do you love most about your job?
The joy my photos bring to my clients...there's nothing like it!
What inspired you to start your own business?
It was after doing photography as a side hustle for about 5 years and realizing, no matter my mood or how busy I was, getting out and capturing my clients lives as they lived it was always exciting to me! I always look forward to my next shoot and my next edit and seeing what comes out of my camera.
Why should our clients choose you?
I'm very personable and friendly. Being in front of a lens can be tough and nerve-racking at times (it's often why you don't see a lot of photos of me ??♀️). So I go above and beyond to make my clients feel comfortable, safe, natural, and hopefully enjoy themselves some!
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
I'm always masked, often double masked, and keep a distance. I currently don't offer hugs or handshakes when meeting (wah!!) and I limit my indoor sessions to 30 mins. at the moment (except for events). Once it's safe, I will be able to increase my indoor family sessions, but don't foresee being unmasked any time over the next year or so!
