Very very untrustworthy and dishonest. I worked for a month with Aruna, driving her to meetings, taking notes and photos for clients, spending hours in meetings going over wedding plans (which everyone else was paid for) and when the promised date to pay me came, she refused and said it was a trial. Why would I sit in 14 hours of meetings for free when all the others were getting paid and a rate was agreed for me? She told me to trust her and it was a very bad idea. I am extremely disappointed in how she and her assistant Peng ("Rabbit") treated me. I am happy to remove my reviews in the event I get paid for the work I did in these extremely lengthy meetings. Until then I will be warning everyone not to trust Aruna or her business "Aroona Events" and to go with an honest reputable event planning company. Beware! More...

Aroona san the birthday party was the best and very traditional, it was the way we wished it.
The party was well planned and was within budget. Aroona went over our expectations and the party was a blast. All kids were engaged and very happy.
She was there from the start to end and made sure everything was running as planned. I have already recommended her to a lot of people and will keep doing so. She was a pleasure to work with!

I had my Baby shower this past February. I wanted a full 10 ft wide arch in gold. I approached many different event planners and didn't get any positive answer. Once I approached Aruna, she came up with the idea of making it. She is super creative and always thinks outside the box. Aruna - You are a ROCKSTAR! As a wedding designer, I come from a creative background in Fashion Design and Interior decoration also a certification in Wedding and Event Decor. My role is to create the visual and tactile experience of the wedding. I consult on all the details from printed materials to the napkin folds on the table. I have in-house services for some of the design pieces such as floral, rentals, lighting, linens, and printed materials.
On the wedding day, I will often come in to supervise all of the décor installations and make sure everything is in place. We do not stay and run the wedding day or manage the event timeline.

Here I run all of the timelines and logistics but I also assist with the design of the wedding day. My role here is to create an all-encompassing experience for the clients. With a degree in both Planning and Designing, and with years of experience I can confidently assure my clients that they are in the best hands.
Many wedding planners dabble in design in some way since the clients generally have questions and look for advice and guidance on their design choices. Couples may think that a wedding planner and a wedding designer are the same things.
