Apothecary is just perfect! The ambiance, the servers, the smells, the food, and the location! I would easily come back here if I had more time. The food was healthy and tasty, and also very unique - exactly what I was looking for! I thought the yucca crust pizza was delicious and lower carbs than a regular pizza so I didn't feel bloated. The citrus fennel salad went very well with the pizza and refreshing and unlike any other salad I've had before. We arrived at 8:45 because on google it showed that they closed at 10, but it's actually 9! The waiters still served us and were so kind! Essential oils and teas are also sold here, which is why it smells amazing and relaxing as you walk in! More...

Staff was extremely patient and accommodating, and always wearing masks. Definitely our best meal in Santa Fe over 4 days. Food =10, Server - Dominic =10, ambience =10.  We had a pineapple elixir, a golden milk smoothie, miso soup (life changing), tomato bisque, pad Thai,  and Buffalo broccoli. Everything was incredible. This is the most unique spot I have visited in New Mexico so far. The fact you can receive an oxygen treatment and/or eat a delicious meal made from scratch is great after a long trip. Yay!  However there was a woman working the entire time we were there with no mask, talking to customers, etc.  We ordered the nachos which didn't have enough blue corn chips and they wanted to charge $3 for the side but the waiter finagled the side for me when I said there just are more toppings than chips.  The key lime vegan dessert was great.  Açaí bowl was good.  Nice atmosphere.  May go back.  We'll see.  Also for people at oxygen concentrator bar, setting was at ten which means a lower oxygen concentration coming out.  Just FYI. After sitting IN the restaurant for more than half an hour to pickup food that I had ordered and paid for IN ADVANCE, they finally told me that they didn't have my order and "sorry". That's it. They told me to call GrubHub for a refund. But they absolutely let me sit there for 30 minutes before they decided to inform me of that. I'm livid. Really wanted some healthier options on our trip and this restaurant did not disappoint! We were greeted immediately and order was taken as soon as we were ready. To start, we had the dragon spring rolls which were really light and delicious. The sauce for these was really good. I ordered the Goddess Revive as well. I was a little disappointed since I was hoping for more flavor but dinner arrived! We opted to share the Temple Thai Yellow Curry. It was really delicious. Flavors were perfect. Dessert was The deep chocolate raw Avacado mousse and it did not disappoint! If you are a fan of dark chocolate, that dessert is definitely for you. This was a very strange and disappointing experience. First of all, we were greeted with weird looks when we asked to get takeout instead of sitting in, which we were hesitant to do since it was only indoor dining. The staff were also taking their masks off whenever they pleased. The service itself was pretty slow and things were left off our order. They didn't seem to care too much that they had messed it up.3 of us ordered Buffalo burgers that were very overdone and lacked flavor. The mustard and ketchup tasted like Heinz and the bun was very dry. There were some backhanded comments and death stares as we waited for our food, almost like they resented us for getting takeout and ordering non-vegan food. For example: a sarcastic comment about our "appreciation for Mother Nature" because we ordered out and utensils were included in our order. Our other friend got the curry and liked it, but her portion of rice was small for the price. Our elixirs were also not good... I got the nurturing chocolate one and it honestly tasted like Swiss Miss. My friend got the pomegranate one and was extremely disappointed, especially for the size. My other friend got the Golden elixir and it gave him a stomachache.Overall - not a great experience. Would not recommend. More...

I regularly get food here, once-ish a week, because my partner discovered this place and is a person with food allergies who can't eat just anywhere. It is, in fact, one of the few places he can eat out. It is important that I start by commending the restaurant and what it provides for the community. They maintain a strong position in the healthy eating niche of Santa Fe. And, unlike other reviewers, I have found their portions to be reasonable and their prices somewhat reasonable for the ingredients. There are some glaring negatives and inconsistencies, however.I've noticed that these reviews vary a lot, and I can say that this is because the service and food are all over the place. They are wildly inconsistent in the preparation and presentation of their food. Pizza crusts are often soggy and can literally fall apart in your hands. I have had to return for a refund because of a pizza of this kind. I understand that part of this is because of the ingredients of the pizza crust, but I have had well-cooked pizzas here before, so I know that it is possible. Also have to mention that I've never seen pizzas cut into such odd shapes before - I thought that pizza cutting was a straightforward process. The buffalo can be very dry, but the food can really be great when cooked well and has rich flavor. The Pad Thai and Gyro are great. And the Caprese pizza with sprouts on top...yummy!!Just as another reviewer, I am VERY concerned that I have witnessed rather inconsistent mask usage since the COVID pandemic started. There have been times when I witnessed an OWNER not wearing a mask on the sales floor. They need to do better here with showing that they value customer health, especially as a place that values healthy eating and living. I am appalled by this and it was upsetting to see such a lack of care for customers. To reiterate, you wear a mask to protect others.I agree with other reviewers that the service leaves **MUCH** to be desired. The staff does not seem to care about the business or how customers are doing. They do not communicate that they appreciate their customers, especially during this tough COVID time; service is often lackadaisical and there is never a simple "thanks for coming in." They seem to simply be collecting money and a paycheck by doing a bare minimum. On one visit in the last couple months, my partner asked for napkins and an employee went to get paper towels from the bathroom for use as napkins at a restaurant that already has premium prices. The bathroom Seriously There have been a few times where I have experienced being blatantly ignored by an owner when the place is near empty and trying to pick up takeout.  I honestly have a hard time suggesting this place to those who do not have food allergies because the service is not great.Apothecary does a lot for the food allergy and healthy eating crowd in Santa Fe, but they need to do more to truly shine as a business in both food and service. Appreciate your customers and do right by them. If you're going to charge such high prices, you need to have service that matches that premium level. I want to support this business and you should too, but there is definitely work to be done. More...

Don't know where to start. This place is so weird. To start, they weren't doing any dine-in service due to covid. I'm not sure if this was a Santa Fe mandate or something but that's fine I'll go with the flow on that.   So we order food for carry out. A woman comes in and asks if they could get some drinks and drink them inside.  The employee asked where they are from.  Ok we are 9 months into this pandemic, it's not like where somebody is from is going to make a difference at this point, so I found that off-putting.  So we step outside bc we just felt so un-welcome we decided to check out the other shops. We came back 20 minutes later when the food was supposed to be ready and they didn't even recognize us from before. There were employees not wearing masks and one of the employees friends was loitering around the cash register lazily holding a bandana in front of his face (as if this does anything) and then he kept taking it down.  There were also a group of women drinking tea without masks and several people with oxygen tubes in their noses without masks of course. This may be the next covid hotspot folks! Oh by the food took nearly 15 minutes longer than we were told and the place just looked dirty. More...

We had 2 meals here. If I were reviewing just the food, I'd probably give it 4.5 stars. But, when I review a place, I take into consideration the service, pricing and portions. The food is no doubt fresh and healthy. I loved the breakfast egg tacos and the digestion latte. The pricing, however, is outrageous. $13 for 2 breakfast tacos in a paper thin tortilla that fell apart? They could have at least used 2 tortillas under each egg. I had to order another plate just to get full, which now made my breakfast a whopping $26 and I wasn't even stuffed.Like someone else mentioned, service was friendly but inattentive except for the really nice lady who bakes all the desserts. As for the oxygen, I had 20 minutes the first time and 90 minutes the second time (included with my massage) and I didn't feel ANY difference. The massage price was outrageous, more expensive than the fancy 10,000 waves spa resort nearby. I had high expectation due to the price and thought it'd be an amazing spa experience and was shocked when the therapist walked me down into what looked like a BASEMENT. The room had no ambiance whatsoever and was very basic. The massage itself was meh, nothing I couldn't have gotten at a cheap reflexology type of a place. Overall, this place is way overpriced for what you get both in terms of food and bodywork and I wasn't super impressed by the service either. There are way better places to eat in town. More...

He explained the concept of the cafe and pointed some interesting items on the menu. The place didn't have a regular coffee but had other thrilling drinks. I asked Jamie  to take control of our morning drinks and he brought some special drinks for us that tasted deliciously! With the food it was a problem...because we wanted to try everything! We order overnight oats and avocado toast with salmon. Oh my... we couldn't finish half... we were so full after the drink and the food that we couldn't breathe lol. I ended up paying $16 for a tiny smoothie that came out like water. In addition, the greens that they used were not blended and the only thing I could taste was cilantro. We visited this place for a late lunch on a Monday afternoon, so I can only speak to the restaurant part and not the oxygen bar. We found the staff friendly, but inattentive considering we were the sole table in the place. The menu is large and varied and the drinks were especially intriguing. My issue with this place comes with the exorbitant prices. My friend got an infusion "cocktail" (there's no liquor), and while good, it was served in a martini glass and was still $8. Not a lot of liquid and no liquor, but the same price as a cocktail.I ordered the buffalo gyro, which was $18. It says on the menu all sandwiches come with a mixed greens salad included. It also says in the description of the gryo that it has mixed greens on the gyro. I assumed that meant that the sandwich would have lettuce and I would also get a side salad (I really wanted some lettuce that day). Sadly not. The gyro was a flat pita with MAYBE 2-3 ounces of protein on it and then a handful of lettuce tossed in dressing on top with some feta and olives. I did not get the additional side salad. While good, I cannot believe i paid $18 for a measly portion of protein on some lettuce! The most expensive sandwich ive ever eaten in my life, and I had to eat some of my friend's lemon chicken just to feel not hungry when I left. My friend did love her bibimbap bowl but again, it's $16 WITHOUT protein. You want salmon? That's an EXTRA $11 DOLLARS, making that a $28 entree. That is INSANE. They need to lower their prices across the board. While I appreciate the concept and the food was acceptable, I wouldn't return based on how expensive. More...

When we visited last Summer, we were blown away by the gorgeous food and wonderful service. This time around, with Covid-19 and the strict measures in place to wear masks and stay distanced, we were alarmed to see the establishment was allowing indoor dining, with patrons unmasked. What's worse, we ordered takeout and our server (perhaps she is even the owner) was NOT WEARING A MASK!! She kept her mask pulled down and around her neck, for the entirety of us placing our to-go order at the indoor register. She never did mask up, not even to bag up our food and utensils (as a double whammy, this was also done ungloved), or to deliver the food outside to us, where we waited. We watched her carry on a conversation with the unmasked patron, so it was a disturbing display of two unmasked people less than six feet apart, releasing all of those respiratory droplets into the air, just a few steps away from the register. With Covid-19 on such a scary rise, and CDC and state guidelines in place, all restaurants and staff should be respectfully practicing safety protocols. Apothercary's website blatantly posts this message: "During this time we are taking safety precautions to prevent the spread of covid-19. Please wear a mask when picking up orders or entering our storefront ." Please, for the love of food and health, practice what you preach. More...
