We enjoyed a truly outstanding and memorable dinner at Anthony's At Paxon Hollow this evening. The weather was perfect so we ate on the outdoor deck/patio overlooking the very scenic approach to the 18th green. We had tasty and interesting cocktails before dinner with a wonderful callamari appetizer followed by a main course of salmon and scallops for me and an outstanding shrimp dish for my wife. Afterward we shared a delicious dessert. Every item was prepared perfectly! Our table service was attentive and friendly. All in all it was a great evening in a beautiful setting. This is a great place to stop in for a drink, aka beer, after a round of golf at Paxon Hollow. The staff is friendly and attentive and the beer is great, aka cold. What better way to celebrate your greatest round of golf or to console yourself after a round of golf that you would rather forget. Celebration or cosolation, either way the post golf process is the same. If you have paid any attention to sports news in this area over the last few years, you must know that you have to "trust the process".Whether you just birdied that impossibly difficult 18 hole or lost a dozen Pro V1 golf balls in the woods, no matter what your score, come in, sit down and relax a bit. After visiting several other venues I was nervous, we'd never fin the perfect place for our wedding. However, Anthony's at Paxon Hollow was perfect! Melissa D helped us from start to finish preparing our special day. Beautiful decor, flowers, cake, the table settings and more. Even our taste testing of the food menu was incredible.The Bridal suite as to die for!!! On Sept 9,2018, it rained and was 59 degrees. This did not stop Anthony's from providing the best wedding ever! They set up for the ceremony then moved all the tables back for our dinner and dancing. As for our Wedding coordinator for our day Pat was literally our go to guy. From Changing our ceremony from outside to inside, to the bride and groom both being served by Pat, never having to leave our guest for a moment.
