Customer service could be a little better and let me forewarn you the steam room may not always be relaxing depending on the smell lol bring some infusers or something if you plan on the steam room but other than that, great gym and the layout is very convenient

Let me tell you something, there is absolutely 0 chance anyone finds a better gym in the area where you can get a membership for 10 beans a month. If you just read that statement and consider planet fitness a better gym, then you clearly don't move weight anyways and should take a hike. This gyms got plenty of free weights, and tons of hammer strength equipment. Not an abundance of squat racks or room to bang out deadlifts, but can definitely get a good pump in, and well worth 10 bucks a month for the basic membership. There's a few people on here weeping about the locker rooms and cleanliness, but if you judge a gym mainly by the locker rooms and not by the equipment, you're probably spending too much time in there dilly dallying anyways, and not enough time moving weight. As far as cleanliness/quality goes, everything on the floor looks good, and in good shape. Have not set foot in the locker room yet, but that's because im busy tryna make all natural gainz. I don't do much cardio, but there's a decent amount of equipment and im sure most of them work jusy fine. Â The only flaw to the basic membership is that you do not get 24/7 access. However, if you show up outside of staffed hours and you cannot get in, im sure some meathead would come open the door for you without any issue. The best gym in the area (North Attleboro) with the kindest staff, especially Danny. Thanks Danny! Lots of equipment, super clean locker rooms and the classes are great! I'd like to also add: I think that review by Bruno was written by a disgruntled employee. Years ago, I signed up for a complimentary personal training session. The trainer I was assigned to, his name was Bruno and he was a total jerk. He brought me to tears and basically told me I was a baby. He was so rude and unprofessional. I did not report this incident to management, because I'm not that way, I'm more than sure if I had, they would have addressed the issue. I continued to have good experience despite Bruno's abuse. I have been a member of this gym for 13 years. I either take a group fitness class or use the cardio and weight equipment 5 mornings a week. The instructors here are FANTASTIC. My kids are older now but they used to attend playcare and I was always confident they were in good hands. I find the staff to be friendly and the gym is cleaned each morning by an independent cleaning company. My hour each morning at AIF is often my favorite part of the day. I have to admit I have never tried to cancel my membership, which seems to be the reason for their negative reviews. If you enjoy group fitness classes this is great gym for all ages. More...

I've been a member of AIF in North Attleboro for almost 6 years and absolutely love it here! The staff are helpful and friendly, and the owner Danny works hard to keep the equipment up-to-date and cleaning. He consistently asks for member feedback and works hard to continue to make improvements. My husband and I often work out together, and we are always greeted warmly by the front desk staff. Plus the people who work out there are wonderful - we've made some really good friends through the gym which is pretty cool! As long as we live in this area I will be a loyal AIF member. It’s a great environment to work in and workout in. There’s lots of positive energy and friendly people!!!
I’m a personal trainer there as well as a group fitness instructor. The members who take group fitness classes are so friendly and welcoming to new people; it’s comforting to see :-).

I'm surprised at the many negative reviews of this place; they seem rather nitpicky if not whiny and petulant. This isn't a bad gym at all, and I don't think such reviews are a fair or accurate representation. It's clean overall and, much more often than not, the employees are friendly. I've been going to this gym for four years and I haven't had an issue. The only criticisms I have are a few broken lockers and the locker room space can be a bit cramped. I haven't used the steam room, so I can't comment on that, but otherwise the establishment has been consistent. More...

My new year's resolution of course was to sign up for the gym and get in shape. I did not sign up until recently I am always super hesitant with gyms. I feel as if the signing up process is more difficult than the actual workout. Not this time! The girl up front was just so warm and welcoming! Whitney signed me up and made everything such a breeze. I want to bring all my friends and family here. Every time I come in she welcomes me and sees how my new year's resolution is going. The equipment is nice and the guests are kind as well. Love this gym! It is very friendly from the moment you walk with the staff welcoming you and even the members who workout there aswell. They just put new carpets in, and upgraded all their cardio machines; they are super nice! AIF has awesome group x classes that are unbelievably fun such as Group Kick (which is my favorite) that is a kickboxing style class that makes you sweat a lot it is super fun! Around here unfortunately you don't find a lot of gyms with fun classes and instructors now a days so I'm glad this gym has alot of them to offer! I recommend this place to everyone! More...
