I am a college student entering my last semester as a chemistry major. I have taken various STEM classes including math, physics, chemistry, biology, and anatomy. Since 2016, I have been a Teaching Assistant for entry-level college chemistry courses and have years of experience tutoring.

I love watching the lightbulb click. Finding the method of teaching specific to each student and helping them understand concepts is exciting.

I tutored many friends in chemistry, math, and physics throughout high school and into college. I decided to make it my official job as a chemistry teaching assistant, but am now looking for a more flexible schedule with one-on-one teaching.

I have years of experience teaching high school and college-aged students. If I don't know a concept well, I will spend the time to research it so I can teach it clearly during our tutoring sessions.

Yes. I have access to zoom, discord, google hangouts, facetime, or any other service you are most comfortable with. I was a teaching assistant when classes went online the beginning of 2020 and have experience teaching classes through zoom.

While I much prefer tutoring in person as I find it easier to connect with people and teach clearly, I have found zoom to be an extremely useful tool until Covid restrictions are lifted.

As a chemistry major, I can tutor high school or entry-level college chemistry. Topics include bonding, acid/base reactions, electrochemistry, thermodynamics, orbital theory, and basic laboratory techniques.
