About

Some therapists simply validate the client’s experience or manage the “problem of the week,” leading clients to feel stuck or dependent on the therapist to “mediate” the most recent relationship conflict. I do it differently.
Whether working with a couple or an individual, I approach your therapy from a relational lens, exploring how your family, culture, identity, and other factors.

Q&As

I love supporting my clients as they navigate their relationships with themselves and their partners. I feel honored that my clients have the trust in me to help them navigate some of the most intimate and vulnerable parts of their lives. It's truly a privilege.

I was struggling in my own marriage after 10 years and three kids. I know firsthand how hard it can be and I wanted to support other couples going through similar issues.

My extensive training in relationships and communication means I have the expertise you need to find a renewed sense of connection and compassion in your relationship with yourself and with your partner.

Yes, I am available remotely or in-office - whatever works best for the client and my schedule.

Services

In most cases, you are both contributing to the tension in the relationship. I help you gain insight into how your own family history, thought patterns, reactions, and behaviors are impacting your relationship and your partner.

Success in relationships begins with a healthy relationship with yourself. Therapy can be an effective way to get more clarity around your needs, to set better boundaries, to kick those pesky obstacles to the curb, and ultimately bring your life goals into reality. I support clients through periods of growth, crisis, transition, and uncertainty.

Sex is all about the relationship – to ourselves, to our partners, and how we relate to our external world. Unfortunately, sex is often mired in shame and secrecy which can deprive you from exploring a relationship with your sexual identity.

I will help you have those really hard conversations you’ve been avoiding in an open and honest way. Together, we will find the root cause of your sexual issues or challenges so you can move towards an empowered, fulfilling sex life.

Discernment Counseling is geared toward couples where one spouse is leaning towards separation or divorce and the other wants to salvage and work to repair the marriage. Couples with mixed agendas don’t do well in traditional couples counseling that aims at solving marital problems. Ambivalent couples need a different approach that identifies the core issues and helps the couple discover if those issues are solvable.

Whether your relationship is salvageable or you’re accepting that the relationship has run its course, the process is painful and complicated. As a certified Discernment Counselor, I can support you in finding clarity and certainty around the future of your relationship.
