We always forget about this great local restaurant. Not sure why because we always get great food and good service. I drove in last night from a listing preview in East Texas and drove straight to the restaurant. I had not eaten much all day and was starving. We were seated quickly and had delicious cocktails almost immediately. The Argentini and the dolce something. Both quite good. Since I was so famished we ordered the shrimp and calamari antipasto and the portion size was alarmingly large and didn't leave much room for dinner. However we did gamely order and had delish leftovers. My only complaint as such was the soup was way too salty for my palate but in their defense I rarely if ever eat salt so a little goes a long way. Absolutely delicious, they're closed for lunch on Saturday. We got there pretty much right at 5pm on a Saturday and we were immediately seated (table of 2). Ordered the calamari and shrimp, only 4 pieces of shrimp but lots of calamari. Calamari was a little bland compared to the shrimp, it was really good. Substituted with blackened chicken on the fettuccine already thing and ordered with no jalapeños. Very rich in flavor and good size portion. My fiance had a spaghetti bolones I think with sirloin (i think)? He said it was really good and he liked it. Definitely will return. Took my bride here for our 22nd anniversary. Gracious service from beginning to end. My entre was the Veal Oscar. It was the best bite I've had at a restaurant in years. Excellent food, but acoustics are very bad in both the main dining area and the party room. Hard to hear person across the table when place is busy. Went ofr a lunch and was really pleased. I got the salad and pizza lunch combination and it really hit the spot. The Spinach salad was flavorful and just the right size.
