I’ve never felt so comfortable in my own skin as I did at Amelia Anne. I had so much fun embracing and accepting my body at age 36. She even let me pick the music! When I said “gangsta rap” she didn’t even hesitate. Haha she had the perfect playlist to let my true goofiness fly free. She took the time to get to know me and learn my insecurities so that she get could the best shots possible. She has the most beautiful backdrops and options for sitting, laying, standing, or whatever position you might have in mind! We have worked with Amelia (and Stephen) a couple of times now. Amelia shot some great family pictures of our girls on location in Chicago. She did a great job of balancing the person in the space- clearly photos were of the person, but also highlighted the location. A few years later, when we were traveling with friends, Amelia and Stephen met up with us in Big Sky and shot all of us together and each of our families. Leading up to the the wedding day, she was extremely accommodating and helpful, communicating with us frequently to make sure we were always on the same page. She was also very quick to respond whenever I had questions for her. Throughout the rehearsal dinner and wedding day, Amelia was very prompt and professional. She was always present and in the right place, while making my husband and I and our guests feel very comfortable. Only a week after the wedding, Amelia sent us a sneak peek of our photographs. They were above and beyond more beautiful than we could have every imagined. Shortly after, Amelia had the rest of the photos ready for us. We now have hundreds of incredible photos from our rehearsal dinner and wedding day that make us laugh, cry and experience the little details of the day all over again. We had our wedding in Montana and hired Amelia to do our photography. She came highly recommended, and hence she was our first priority. We were very happy to have secured her services, and she was very professional with handling the relationship. She had a worksheet to ask what types of photos and styles we wanted, explained to us the packages (no gimmicks), how the venue works and what photos came out best at each venue, and spent enough time to get to know us. On the day of, Amelia and Stephen did their best running around the venue to get us close and far shots. They are exceptionally well with lighting and coloring on close ups. The day after I got engaged I emailed Amelia, because I knew our wedding date would hinge on her availability. From the day I met Amelia I was in love with her photography and her. I have coordinated over 400 weddings in my career and worked with a lot of wedding photographers, but Amelia captured my attention from the beginning. Her photos tell a story and make you feel like you were there. She captures the precious little moments when the first tear falls from a father eye or the sweet brush of an arm by a mother to her daughter- it's the small moments that you miss as a couple on your day.
