Stumbled into this place by accident. The restaurant we were looking for had closed and we just did a google search for Mediterranean food. Ohmigosh!! It was excellent!! The BEST falafel. And such nice people. We asked while we were there if they would be open Christmas Day and they said yes...we wanted to take our son who loves Mediterranean food and would be home from college then...but they wound up being closed. We were all so disappointed!! But we're taking him tomorrow...can't wait!! Going to be delicious!! More...

This is your chance KSAW! There is a real Italian American who knows how to cook real Italian food and does it from scratch. The name and menu are changing however the service and the food are AWESOME!!!! I had the Ravioli special, best I have had in GA bar NONE!!! You will see quick changes as they grow, but they need traffic, and for the service and food they offer, it's your responsibility to keep the good cooks, their restaurants, and their families within your city. It's not Med anymore, and I do love that, however having being reared in Sicilian home I have experience on what real italian food is, and this is Kennesaw's first! After driving by this place for months, I decided to go for lunch one day. The location is convenient and there's a decent amount of parking. I ordered the Lunch Combo #1 that included beef and chicken shawarma, pita, rice, hummus, and cumber and tomato salad. The combo came out to about $12. The portion size was large and could possibly feed two people. The food was fresh and flavorful and the service was fast. I was in and out with my order in about 10 minutes. The service provided was good, I told the person taking my order that it was my first time trying Ameer's and he walked me through the menu and provided recommendations based on what I wanted. The most flavorful Mediterranean food I've had in a while. The falafel was perfect.However, I did get the falafel platter and there were too many sides/toppings for only 6 small pieces of falafel. I'm still hungry and I spent $14!

I eat lunch here often. Literally my favorite falafel in Atlanta. The chicken shawarma and falafel are my favorites and are highly recommended either sandwich or plate. The pita sandwiches come with fries and a lot of them. The fries are frozen but still pretty good. The plates are huge portions and when I would eat with my girlfriend we shared one plate and ordered extra chicken kabobs or falafel. They make the best Israeli salad I've had here. I really have nothing negative to say about this place itself. Traffic around the location is terrible. The traffic is really the only reason I don't eat there at least once a week. The only place I think that has better bread is yalla. Their laffas are made in house fresh. I really wish Ameer's would move to Emory point. More...
