Alyssa was the single best decision my husband and I made in planning our wedding! From our first meeting until the big day, Alyssa was the consummate professional and an absolute joy to work with. She took our ideas and always came back to us with thoughtul suggestions and amazing vendor selections. She took care of coordinating all our vendors (each of whom made it a point to tell us how much they enjoyed working with her) and kept us on track with gentle reminders of meetings and due dates. On the actual wedding day, we were able to relax and enjoy ourselves knowing that Alyssa was there. We can't recommend her highly enough.

Hands down, I would highly recommend Alyssa to anyone getting married! From start to finish, she was incredible and a pleasure to work with! And honestly, we could NOT have done it without her! She was so helpful, she made the entire process so easy for us and not overwhelming as it can be at the very beginning. She even went out of her way on numerous occasions just to meet with us to get to know us more.

Our wedding day was the single most wonderful and special day of our lives, and a lot in part to Alyssa and her hard work and expertise with vendors and pulling it all together. And for any bride shopping for a planner - a MUST is hiring the planner the day of! We did not have to think or do a single thing the day of and be distracted at all from each other and this most special day so would definitely recommend that as a part of the package! Alyssa made it all happen and come together so we didn't have to think of a thing.

We're even a little sad - well because the wedding is over but also, because we've become friends with Alyssa so our friendship definitely doesn't end with the wedding.

Hiring Alyssa was hands down the best decision we made when planning our wedding. We hired her for venue pairing and month-of wedding management. We asked her for a tall order: a barn wedding in New England on a Saturday in October, with less than 11 months notice and a modest budget. Alyssa went above and beyond to investigate and found us a brand new venue that checked every single item on our list. She knew exactly what questions to ask and pointed out things that we never would have thought of in determining which venue was the best fit for us. Over the next several months, we had access to many resources that helped us with decision making - online planning tools, checklists, preferred vendor lists, and most importantly, email access with Alyssa. Her preferred vendor list was fantastic and we built most of our vendor team based on those suggestions. She also specifically recommended options for hotels, transportation, and our amazing florist. As the wedding drew closer we started to get overwhelmed with all the minute details of wedding planning: catering details, rental quantities, photo lists, DJ surveys, etc. It was such a relief to have Alyssa jump in at the 8 week mark and make order of our chaos. We probably sent Alyssa a million questions and, while we knew she was working on a couple of other weddings at the same time, we always got prompt responses and never felt like we were lower priority - I doubt she actually got any off days this wedding season! She coordinated with all our vendors, made great suggestions, helped us figure out a floor plan, and created a wonderfully detailed timeline. On the day of the wedding, she worked tirelessly behind the scenes to set everything up exactly how we wanted it and coordinated the whole day flawlessly. She struck the perfect balance on the day of asking us what we wanted and making small decisions on her own to keep everything moving smoothly. My husband and I hired Alyssa in the 11th hour of wedding planning. I had planned about 85% of the big day and started to really feel the crunch in the two months leading up to the event. Due to a mix of a shorter engagement timeframe (8 months), extremely demanding jobs, and limited availability the month immediately before the wedding, we felt we really needed the extra help to take us to the finish line; by rights, we should have hired a planner from the beginning! Alyssa helped with landing on a floral style, researching options for favors and day-of stationary, creating a comprehensive timeline for the day to include where vendors, wedding party, and guests needed to be and when, as well as conducting final vendor confirmation and coordination in the final weeks. She was my go-to person to bounce questions off of for anything and everything including things like the first look, signature drink, and tablescape. And she was also each vendor’s main point of contact as well in the final weeks alleviating any possible flurry of calls or emails on my end.

It is very difficult to plug into someone's brain and planning in the final stretch of their vision and she did it. With no hesitation, she jumped right in to learn what was most important to us and tried to keep that front and center for us in the final weeks of planning. I felt such a weight lifted as I started to see her follow up on emails from vendors where we were waiting on a response and creating a final decision point- and to-do list, even separating the must have from the nice to have items. It was a relief to have someone ‘in the trenches’ with me crossing the t’s and dotting the i’s as ‘the big day’ approached.

As a person, Alyssa is extremely detail oriented, proactive, caring, and patient. She uses a cool online site called Aisle Planner that allowed us to collaborate together virtually on timeline, budget, and vendor management. Her packages are nimble enough to help any couple in their planning, however big or small the need. Our venue included a day-of coordinator already so while that is usually part of the “month-of coordination” services offered by many planners, she was flexible enough to remove that component to focus on just the pre-planning work needed. She collaborated seamlessly with the day-of coordinator to pass the baton to execute on the vision and timeline for the day.

The wedding was a huge success and we received so many compliments on how smooth the day ran. Thanks again Alyssa!

My husband and I do not know where to begin to express how thankful we are to have had Alyssa on our wedding day. When we first spoke with Alyssa, she took the time to truly understand our vision for our wedding and ensured that our vision came true. We quickly learned how Alyssa goes above and beyond of her job description! After we asked Alyssa to work with us, she was in contact with our vendors immediately and drafted a perfect timeline for our wedding day. She also has an online planning process that is helpful to keep organized! We are also extremely grateful for Alyssa because she helped us figure out details we didn't even know we had to think of! If I could give Alyssa 10 stars I would! I was living in Minnesota and getting married in Connecticut. I would not have been able to plan my wedding without her! She took care of everything for me hundreds of miles away and I never had to worry. I have always heard brides saying how difficult the wedding planning process but I did not experience this, which I have to say is because of her! She gave me weekly checklists, spoke with all my vendors, was extremely professional, and made sure the actual day went perfectly. I could NOT be more thankful that I found Mrs. Alyssa! My wedding was a 200 person affair on our family farm, meaning we were sourcing all our own vendors to the property. Needless to say, it was A LOT of coordinating and details. I decided to bring Alyssa on board as a "Month-of Coordinator" and she instantly made my pre-wedding jitters disappear. She insured all of my vendors (caterer, flowers, DJ, photographer, etc.) were all on the same page with timing and responsibilities. She tirelessly worked behind the scenes so I could focus on more fun details of wedding planning. She was so timely with her communication, extremely personable and basically seemed more of a good friend rather than a random person helping with my big day. Alyssa was an absolute DREAM to work with! I recently got married in October and though I was spearheading the planning of the wedding, I knew I wanted, and needed a day of coordinator to get me through, and we could not have made a better decision in hiring Alyssa. I have to admit, I am an extremely detailed, overly organized, very type-A person when it comes to planning events, as I used to be in event planning, and Alyssa was the perfect match as she is just as detailed and organized, but also calm, flexible and understanding. She really wants to make sure her clients are feeling good and comfortable with the day, so really goes out of her way to make sure that happens. Leading up to the wedding, she was so on-point in connecting with vendors and letting them know she was now the main point of contact, that I did not even have to worry about things not being communicated! Alyssa is extremely responsive, professional, and has a wonderful, upbeat personality and attitude -- it's impossible not to like her and her work only emulates how wonderful she is. Even AFTER the wedding, I was having issues with locating extra favors and she reached out to the venue to get the answer and resolve the issue. Whenever there was something I just didn't have the capacity to do, I knew I could ask for her help, and never had a worry or doubt that she wouldn't do it expertly. Before I get into the heart of my review, HIRE Alyssa! You 100% won’t regret the decision and quite honestly, it will end up being one of the best wedding investments you make for your special day. I know for me, this was absolutely the case. This goes for whether you’re doing everything yourself or having your wedding at a venue. If you want a dedicated, personalized, professional person fulfilling your vision, Alyssa is that person.I recently got married on 9/1/18 and due to the type of wedding my husband and I were having (at my now in-laws backyard), we needed someone to handle day-of coordination. As I started researching vendors on The Knot, I found a couple to reach out to, including Alyssa. She was the first person I spoke to, and you know when you talk to someone and you can tell they just…fit with you, your personality, your family/friend’s personalities (that last one is a biggie and sometimes just as important)? Alyssa was it; there was no contest after I spoke to her. The thoughtfulness of her questions, her engagement, her enthusiasm, her professionalism…no one came close. Remember my family/friends comment? I have some similar type A, serious planning people in my life and knew Alyssa would be on top of everything enough to put us all at ease. That’s exactly what she did.She truly made my husband and my vision come to life. Not only did she come extremely prepared for our first meeting with questions that spanned everything from the ceremony to the reception to décor and anything in between, she also had such amazing insight on things with the caterer for instance, as well as things we hadn’t even thought of. She was also more than willing to be involved pulling details together, like folding and tying 120+ napkins the night before. She always listened, never rushed me through my thoughts, and was extremely responsive. Alyssa not only handled all the day-of details, but also managed our vendors! This was an incredible help to my mother-in-law and I as we were renting everything for a wedding in my in-law’s backyard (tent, tables, chairs, linens, bar, decorations, etc). This allowed my mother-in-law and I to focus our attention elsewhere.She also handled our wedding party fantastically, which was by all accounts, like herding cats She kept us on time and organized while still recognizing that the day was about us enjoying and having fun with those closest to us. I know I don’t know all the issues she encountered that day, and that’s because she’s amazing at her job and handled them. If anything went wrong, I was certainly none the wise – everything was beautifully executed.I truly can’t sing Alyssa’s praises enough. I couldn’t be happier with how our day turned out. Alyssa was absolutely fantastic to work with for our wedding. We hired her to do our day-of-event coordination, but she went above and beyond by helping us nail down our final arrangements with our vendors and the venue. We had some minor last-minute issues with our food truck caterers, but Alyssa straightened them out with zero stress for us. Hiring Alyssa to help as our day of coordinator was one of the best decisions we made. She listened to our vision and pointed us in the right direction when we needed help leading up to the wedding, especially that last month when there were a million things going on. She worked seamlessly with our vendors and kept everyone well informed leading up to the event. The day of the event, Alyssa arrived early, checked in with us and then executed our vision for ceremony and reception set up perfectly. Alyssa was my wedding coordinator when I got married at the beautiful Wentworth by the Sea Hotel and Spa in Portsmouth, NH, in August 2016. For those of you who aren't familiar with this venue, the Wentworth is a true gem that clearly hires top notch and talented staff to go above and beyond the expectations of bride and grooms on their wedding day. Alyssa was outstanding to work with from day one. She was very professional and attentive to details. I was one of those brides who was very particular with what I wanted, and she helped plan my wedding down to the smallest detail. Alyssa was also very responsive to my many emails. Alyssa was the planner/coordinator for a shower that I hosted and although it wasn't a wedding, I couldn't possibly have been more satisfied with her services and would absolutely trust her with a bigger event like a wedding. I live out of state so Alyssa was a huge help and essential to having the event go perfectly. She had recommendations and contact information for all the vendors I needed and totally handled all of the coordinating with the venue regarding food, drinks, etc. She also ran errands/picked things up for me and had everything set up at the venue by the time we arrived, a half hour before the event started, with just a few last minute things we wanted to add. She was extremely professional, reliable, and quick to respond to any questions I had... a true pleasure to work with! Alyssa was so amazing, where do we even begin!! I like to think I am a very organized person and I was very thorough in planning my wedding, however I knew for a fact I wanted (and needed) a day of coordinator to help things run smoothly. The moment we met Alyssa, I knew I needed her on my team. She took control and was the point of contact for all vendors to talk to which was a huge help in the weeks leading up to our wedding. I have never met anyone so organized and detail oriented. It didn't hurt that her personality is so likable, she was an absolute blast to work with. ALL of our vendors have reached out to us since, saying how amazing she was and how she was the BEST coordinator they have worked with, and wish they could work with her on all their events. Alyssa kept us in the loop on any changes our vendors had, worked with our photographer to compile a timeline for the day, and executed on all levels. I was against having a wedding planner because I "thought I could do it all myself." One of the best decisions was hiring Alyssa to help me out with the details and day-off planning. I was engaged in December 2017 and knew I wanted to have a very small wedding before the summer of 2018. I choose the venue, food, and general idea of decorations, etc. The months flew by and before I knew it, it was March/April. Alyssa helped me keep on track with details, cake provider, florist, and GOP. I used ALL of her recommendations and it turned out to be a beautiful day. Alyssa stayed over an hour beyond the planned time for rehearsal, with a smile on her face, and was back the next morning to set up the decorations. My daughter got married last month and Alyssa made it so easy for us! I was impressed with her communication and attention to detail. The week before the wedding she sent an email to the wedding party with a timeline of the day's events. It had a schedule of the bridal parties hair and makeup, when pictures would start, shuttle bus schedules, and more. I was the man of honor at my best friends wedding recently and I don’t know how we could have gotten it done without Alyssa! No other words could describe her performance other than perfect. In addition to her positive, upbeat and enthusiastic personality, she was incredibly organized and very punctual to every one of our meetings. One thing in particular she did that was great was that she helped out with the design concept. Everything came out beautifully and she was very attentive to keep everyone happy and organized. Venue and Vendor Management

- Manage all vendors starting the day you book with Alyssa Jean Signature Events
- Schedule and attend vendor meetings
- Additional site visit to the venue
- Attend menu tasting with caterer to assist in meal selections

Guest Management

- Set up and manage hotel blocks
- Track guest RSVP’s (all RSVP’s would be mailed to our office and we will track RSVP’s as they come in along with meal selections)
- Deliver welcome bags to area hotels
- Assistance with seating plan organization

Budget Management
Available Services (Choose one option)
- Access to our interactive budget management planning tool to track your own expenses, payments made and payment due dates
- Full budget management (only available to clients at the beginning stages of planning). We will sit down with you to discuss your overall budget, discuss your must-haves and help you allocate where to spend money and areas you can save. We will track payment due dates and send you reminders a week in advance when a payment is approaching.

Design Management:

- Design Meeting – we will sit down and discuss your likes, dislikes, and color choices. We will follow up with a Mood Board in the Design Studio that you can access to design your wedding.
- Design Implementation – we will research vendors and rental companies to bring your design vision to life. We will coordinate the rentals on your behalf … all you have to do is approve our choices and sign the rental agreement!

Pre-Wedding Planning
• Unlimited phone, email and in-person meetings beginning the day you book with us
• Full access to our online suite of interactive wedding planning tools (Calendar, Comprehensive Checklists, Design Studio, Guest and Seating Management, Budget Management and all of our Notes templates)
• Research and recommend venues and vendors that fit client’s style and budget
• Attend all initial venue site visits to evaluate venues before making the final decision
• Schedule and attend all vendor meetings and venue site visits
• Manage vendors throughout the entire process
• Create and manage overall wedding budget and help client book services within the budget
• Track due dates and vendor payment dates
• Set up and manage hotel blocks for out-of-town guests
• Collect all RSVP cards and track guest attendance and meal selections
• Attend tasting with caterer and advise on meal selections
• Create preliminary wedding day timeline and review with vendors

Final Month and Day-Of Wedding
• Final venue site visit to confirm décor placement, table placement, ceremony set-up and event flow
• Confirm all details and arrival times for vendors
• Finalize wedding day timeline and send to all vendors (5) days prior to wedding
• Create itinerary for bridal party, family and VIP guests (5) days prior to wedding
• Finalize seating arrangements and create a floor plan
• Deliver welcome bags to area hotels
• Coordinate rehearsal and ceremony
• Distribute final payments and gratuities to vendors
• Arrive to venue early to set-up personal décor (including escort cards, restroom amenity baskets, menu cards, favors, photos, signage, etc.), ensure vendors arrive on-time and fulfill their contracted duties, direct guests to ceremony, etc.
• Break-down décor at the end of the evening; ensure all personal décor, gifts, cards, personal belongings are packed up and returned to you
• On-Site up to (14) hours on the wedding day

This service is for the couple who has done all of their own planning and just need some assistance on the wedding day with organizing and setting up their personal décor. Wedding décor management can only be booked within (60) days of the wedding day. This package includes the following services:

• Create a detailed check list of all personal décor and offer suggestions on common ceremony, cocktail hour and reception items
• (1) Site Visit to the venue prior to the wedding day to discuss décor placement and set-up
• Create a floor plan of the reception space detailing where all décor is to be set
• Arrive to venue early to set-up all personal décor (including escort cards, restroom amenity baskets, menu cards, favors, photos, signage, etc.).
This does not include set-up of tables, chairs, buffet stations, furniture, etc.
• On-Site up to (4) hours on the wedding day (typically 2-3 hours before the ceremony and on-site through the ceremony to move any ceremony décor to cocktail hour/reception)
