Chris, the owner, went above and beyond... She personally delivered flowers to a local hospital and dropped them with a volunteer. My friend never received them (due to hospital issues, not florist's) so Chris personally took another bouquet to my friend the next day. Customer service? I think so! My Husband ordered me flowers for my birthday the whole order was screwed up. He went through Avas Flowers (NEVER AGAIN) he ordered a bouquet, full size card and Ballon he paid extra for rush delivery before 1pm. Come 3:30pm when he got off he text me asking if I got anything at work, me assuming he meant gift from people I said no. He then said "so no delivery yet?" The answer still no but now he ruined the surprise. Come 4:15 He called Avas they did not apologize and at the end had the nerve to say they would give us a $20 credit towards our next purchase. I am now still at work waiting for a delivery when I should have been off 20 mins before. The delivery finally showed up at 4:45pm. Once I got home Ron asked if I got everything me not knowing what that was. No I did not get a full size card, no I did not get a balloon and again no the order did not come before 1pm. The next morning I called the flower shop directly. She apologized and said she would make it right. Mind you Avas did refund us $9.99 for the inconvenience. Lmao! Anyways Always Affordable Flowers showed up today defiantly made things right! Got a basket full of flowers, cheese, candy, pineapple and 2 bottles of wine to top it off a gift certificate for $75.
