Alexander Stitt Architecture is a Portland Oregon based studio that believes architecture should be contemporary, contextual, economical, and above all else, elevated. Whether the project is a small bus stop or a 5 mile long master plan, architecture and design have the ability to build upon real world parameters and precedent with unexpectedly beautiful place-making.
Alex has over 10 years of experience working in architecture: from small scale residential and installation work, to large scale commercial and urban design projects. He has collaborated with award winning architects such as David Jameson Architect, Nemestudio, HOK, Michael Van Valkenburgh Associates, and Huitt-Zollars Inc (formerly Morris Architects of Astrodome fame). Alex received his MArch degree from Rice University School of Architecture in Houston and his BS Arch degree from Ohio State University’s Knowlton School of Architecture in Columbus Ohio. Alex is a licensed architect in Oregon and Texas.
