Alex blew away my expectations. I booked Alex for a last minute headshot shoot as my friend was coming in town and he made the entire process easy from start to finish. He was able to come to my house which was crucial as we both have tiny kids at home. He also asked for our website info and information about our business prior to get a feel for what we would be going for. The booking on the website was extremely easy. He came on time was extremely professional and clean. He spent way more time than I could have imagined helping us get the right shot. My business partner and I are both physicians who are not used to photos and he gave us so many tips to get the look we were going for. I highly recommend the instant look option where you can see yourself after each shot on his iPad he brings. It really helps with adjusting yourself to get the look. During the shoot he played awesome music gave us great tips for our business and was just pleasant and fun too speak with. I am sure we will hire him again. Finally the most important part he got more than one good shot. We liked the pictures so much we picked 10 to get touched up because we liked them that much. I think that’s due to his communication, skill, and patience. He changed the lighting multiple times to compliment my partner and myself when we switched positions which I’ve never seen someone do so the look with both of us would be cohesive. I wasn’t happy with an outfit choice I made and he patiently let me change and gave great tips. I’d recommend him 1000 times over without any reservation. More...

I booked Alex Kaplan for my surprise proposal photoshoot. I contacted Alex about a month in advance to book my shoot, and he kept in touch with me as we got closer to the date of the proposal. I really appreciated the level of communication we had so he knew my vision for the shoot and was able to execute his role perfectly. Alex was on time and was discreet when my girlfriend and I arrived to the proposal site. She was completely surprised by the proposal and didn’t even notice Alex was there capturing the moment. We were very pleased with Alex’s genuineness, professionalism and creativity. This was our first time being photographed and Alex made it a fun and comfortable experience. He had so many fun ideas for shots, and overall we loved the results!! Weeks later and we can’t stop looking at those shots. We hired Alex to do our wedding in May. The package we decided on included engagement photo session as well. Alex and his team was great to coordinate with. The engagement session was really great. Alex kept things light, fun, and not rushed. He took his time, helping to capture the right pictures and poses. He also got along great with my husband, and made it .ish more enjoyable for him.
