I haven't even see the finished photos yet but I'm already so impressed. Showed up early, knew the location, had a plan, and knew how to work with my crazy boys, one who was very grumpy when we arrived (8 and 11 years old). I'm always a bit of a loss of what to do posing-wise and she gently coached us on where to sit/stand/kneel, where to look, and what way to angle ourselves. Loved working with her!!! Rachelle was quick to reply to my initials inquiry and the process to set up a shoot was super easy. She worked magic getting great family photos despite the heat, bugs, and tired toddlers. I’m gonna be completely honest. Rachelle was a complete stranger to me. I had not seen her work but she came highly recommended by a close friend (a friend who is never wrong btw). “She’s only coming for the day and you don’t wanna pass it up”, she said. Well, I was on the fence because we had just recently had our pics taken. Not to mention we’re getting more pics taken on vacation with other family members soon. Plus, I really didn’t plan on spending extra money before our big road trip coming up. I literally winced as I booked the session because... I didn’t have time to add anything else due to juggling appointments, prepping for a road trip to three different states, spending money, finding coordinating outfits, etc. BUT I totally didn’t want to regret not gettin them either.

Well, Rachelle took the stress out of all of this and I don’t even know if she realizes it. First of all, she’s the nicest sweetest person ever. She set everything up SO well for us that it really was a breeze. Very professional from the very beginning. She sent frequent messages, greetings, information on location options, update upon update, offered to help with wardrobe ideas, (SO glad I took her up on that), location details, directions, you name it. She even had someone waiting for us at the beginning of the hiking trail to lead us to her. (That was a big deal for me because I didn’t have to worry about where to go once we arrived at the park.) Once our pics were taken she continued to give us updates on the editing process and when to expect another update. It really makes a difference being well informed throughout the whole process. Not to mention, I absolutely loved the user friendly gallery website with the easy to follow steps on how to view, choose, and download the pics.

So...long story short, she’s no longer a stranger and I will definitely book another session with her. I LOVED my entire gallery so much I bought the whole thing. I’m so grateful for these captured moments in our children’s lives. She captured US. Our family laughing together. Not just our children’s smiles but their personalities and joy and innocence. Talk about money WELL spent because I could not live without a single one. Just simply ...beautiful. More...

Rachelle has a real heart for photography and is all about capturing the moment and creating art. She has played with and studied photography for at least a decade before she decided to start a business, and her expertise shows in her photos. At our photo shoot earlier this month, Rachelle gave the right amount of directions to make sure she got the right shots without making things feel posed or awkward. She captured great photos of our squirmy kids (ages 10 months and 3), which we all know can be a difficult feat.
