We are beyond THRILLED to have them at our wedding! We had a classy and professional tasting in a private room. The owner designed a quote with three different options so we could choose what we would like and be able to see immediately what each estimate would cost us. The cake was moist and fluffy. The fillings and frostings could be mixed and matched as we went about our tasting. They had books and mock-ups in the room with us of previously designed cakes to help us choose the best one for the theme. They also encouraged us to try other bakers - it's like they knew they were the best out there and had confidence in their product. They also feature so many cupcakes and other baked goods for every day or other special occasions. Hands down, we are SO excited and confident that we will have an amazing cake at our wedding. We liked them and were impressed. We were encouraged to look around at other shops without pressure. A horrible tasting sent us right back to Aggie’s. The taste…how moist the cake was…the details in the cake decorating…the professionalism. The horrible tasting charged us an exorbitant amount for the tasting and wanted us to pay for a design fee and wait a week for a quote. Not only was the delicious tasting at Aggie’s free and friendly, a consultation was given immediately with a customized quote right there. Pricing out several options to show us. Rachel knows her stuff! So professional! And so within our budget. Go get some yummy cupcakes whenever you can and they’re also friendly for your wallet. Incredible taste and portion size. Aggie's made us the cutest little cutting cake, and a bunch of custom donuts! I was really happy with the cake, and I loved that the donuts were so unique and fit in with the rest of our wedding. A few of the donuts were a bit clumsy looking, but they were just put at the base of the display. Aggie's recommended bakeries to accommodate our guests with allergies, and I really appreciated that. My daughter hired Aggie's to create her wedding cake and it was beautiful and delicious!
When they did their tasting, they received a nice selection of cake, fillings and frostings to mix & match so that they could find their favorites.
One negative thing was when my daughter went to the shop to make her final payment, she had arranged to come in on a certain day, at a certain time. When she arrived, the person she was supposed to meet with wasn't there, and the staff that was there refused to accept her payment. When she asked them to call the person she was supposed to meet with, they refused to do that, too. My daughter ended up having to come back to the shop on her lunch break the next day. Obviously, that was irritating and a waste of her time.
In spite of the foolishness about the payment, Aggie's made one awesome cake! More...

Aggie's is well known in Wisconsin and cake tasting was one of our favorite wedding preparation activities to do as a couple. We worked with Alex on tasting, decorating and exactly how we wanted the cake to look - she was great! She no longer worked at Aggie's a month before our wedding when final count and accessories were due. At that time, the process felt unorganized and I was worried my cake wouldn't be delivered. However, the cake was GORGEOUS and exactly how I pictured. It arrived on time and my guests really enjoyed the white cake, along with red velvet. I would recommend Aggie's to anyone! More...

Aggie's was amazing through all the prep work down through delivery. I would advise asking to try other flavors aside from what they offer as part of their standard tasting to get a much bigger selection.

When they delivered, apparently we were told by our venue that the noticed a small streak on the cake that shouldn't have been there. Aggie's wouldn't accept that as being quality and drove the 30 + minutes back to the bakery to fix the issue and STILL arrive on time with an outstanding cake...that's customer service. Aggie's Bakery was such a pleasure to work with for our wedding cake. The tasting and design experience was wonderful, and we had so many compliments on our cake flavor combination! We ended up doing a combination of cheesecake with white cake. I'm glad it was recommended that we only do a combination and not a full cheesecake, as the cheesecake started to "melt" a little later in the night. Didn't affect the wonderful taste! The groom and I were initially a little surprised that the coloring/airbrushing was much darker then what we had discussed, especially considering it was documented several times on our design worksheet to have a "hint" or "lightly" done with color, and a picture was attached to our worksheet showing what we wanted . But the only people who would have known that were us the couple :) And in the end, the pictures turned out wonderful, and the taste was AMAZING which is what was truly important to us! More...

We worked with Alex at Aggies and she was wonderful. She helped us at our tasting plan out everything dessert wise so it was stress free. She was always on top of communication. We switched up our original cake design a few months after our consultation but they had no problems with that and our cake looked exactly like our inspiration photo. When my husband and I went to our appointment at Aggie's with a very specific cake reference photo for our wedding, I was nervous that it could be done. After meeting with owner Rachel and showing her the photo, she was confident that her team could pull it off. And let me tell you, they perfectly executed the cake I have always dreamed of! Our decorator Brian even did some trial "brushstrokes" for our cake design and sent us photos to confirm that we were happy with it before confirming our cake. When I walked into our venue on our wedding day and saw our cake, it took my breath away. It was exactly what I always pictured.

Besides the gorgeous way it looked, our cake was SO delicious. The frosting was not overly sweet, and the strawberry cream filling was light and juicy - it didn't taste like fake fruit, and you can tell that the team puts a lot of love into their bakes. One of the reasons we also love Aggie's is their mini desserts - we ordered turtle brownies, cream puffs and key lime tarts and everything was astounding. Aggie's makes it easy to offer multiple desserts for your guests, which is a fun way to mix it up.

Working with the team at Aggie's was also just such a delight. Our wedding date kept moving around due to COVID-19, and the team at Aggie's helped us navigate the whole situation with kindness and flexibility, which took out so much of the stress we were already under.
