I love helping small businesses demystify the process of hiring and employing the best people that they can for their business. Being an employer shouldn't be as difficult as it is these days with all of the rules and regulations that companies must contend with. My goal is to bring business owners and managers peace of mind, so that they can remain focused on what they do well which is running and growing their business.

I have worked in and around small businesses for my entire career. I recognized that HR is an areas that small businesses constantly struggle with, and that I could add value in this area based on my background and experiences.

We are passionate about helping our clients solve their HR problems, and we do this in the context of running a small business. This is very different than 'corporate HR'. We understand the challenges faced by small businesses everyday, and we are relentless in our desire to share our expertise in the service of others.

Advantage Employment, Inc. supports managers and HR practitioners by providing guidance, ideas, education and information on a variety of Human Resource related topics. A recurring monthly call with a senior HR Professional will include discussion about general HR practices and compliance as well as current open issues. The agenda is flexible, and is defined by what is most important to you. Follow up calls create an ongoing dialogue, and enable you to build and maintain a relationship with an advisor who understands your business, and can help you Navigate through all HR matters.

Advantage Employment, Inc. helps small businesses manage the complexity of the employment relationship by executing all day-to-day HR functions and providing ongoing guidance and support to management. Employment matters are managed for you in a way that won’t expose the company to liability. Guidance from a knowledgeable HR Professional provides answers that management needs to run the business effectively.

An HR program will run more effectively when there are processes, programs and tools in place to guide the actions of management and employees. Our team can create these tools for you, customized to your business, and reflective of your company culture. Unsure of what is needed? We can start with an assessment, and provide recommendations for what is needed.

Recruiting a new employee for your organization takes a tremendous amount of time. Many small business owners and hiring managers simply don’t have the time it takes to manage the process in a way that will maximize success. Posting an ad on a major job board will bring in a flood of resumes, but then what? An HR Professional on our team will review those resumes, pare down the list, and conduct an initial phone screen to validate their qualifications and interest in the position. Then we provide guidance and act as a sounding board as you make your final selection.
