What do you love most about your job?
I am rewarded by seeing students and clients develop their English communication proficiency skills, while gaining greater self-confidence; showing substantial progress that helps them enter higher level educational institutions; advance their academic goals; and acquire a higher income, with benefits, by earning a position with a company they really want to work for.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I want to serve and support English learners with effective learning tools that advance their knowledge and skillsets, as well as help them to feel good about themselves by being accepted and fitting in, as they acclimate to the culture.
Why should our clients choose you?
Mr. Lehman has his Master's in Education from SU, Bachelor's in Interdisciplinary Arts & Sciences from UW, and is a Certified TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) Instructor. He has taught and studied in the U.S. and abroad in village schools, public schools (K-12), and colleges and universities. As a passionate educator, Lehman has been teaching and tutoring for 14 years. AEA (Advanced English Academy, LLC) maintains the purpose of bridging intercultural communities and connecting English learners with their highest potential.

The tutoring and instructional services are virtual (online). The student/client does not have to purchase any software to join the classes/private sessions.
The only requirement is that the student/client has a laptop or computer station with Internet service (WiFi). Another option is using a computer at a library or at an Internet cafe.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
There is no COVID-19 issue since the services provided are online. If we do meet in person for any reason, only the strictest precautionary health safety measures are employed, aligned with the Public Health & Safety State Standards.
One-on-One English Instruction
At a lower rate, basic tutoring is available, if that is all you need.
However, other trainings are offered from an experienced, certified TESOL instructor, you are quality trained to develop your English communication skills for various abilities, such as writing academic papers, oral presentations, interviews, business meetings, and more.
Study English online. Choose either a small group classes (reduced hourly rate) or private (accelerated and intense/flexible schedule) 1-1 sessions. Find the right program to meet your English communication goals. From Intermediate to Advanced English proficiency. 10 students max. per class.
From a needs assessment, your individual needs are addressed directly so that you gain progress rapidly to meet your goals. Depending on your preferred pace, your communication proficiency will develop accordingly.
Also, you can earn an academic OR business Certificate of Achievement Award showing that you have achieved a certain English communication proficiency level. This is beneficial to share on school applications, online opportunities, and at interviews. If interested, ask about one of our Certificate Programs, that best fits your schedule.

Advanced Academic English Instruction: $40/$45 per hour
* Accelerated and extensive educational enrichment that is tailored to the student's individual needs.
* The student's personal needs and goals, in addition to given assessments, determine the focus of the learning program.
* A Progress Report is provided for self-evaluation and to monitor developments.
* A Certificate of Achievement Award is offered upon completion of the Academic English Certificate Program.
* References are made available for academic and career interviews.
Advanced Business English Instruction: $55/$65 per hour
For adult English learners to develop Business English skills, this is a smart career move to take your job opportunities and salary potential to the next level.
Earn the “Business English Certificate of Achievement Award.” Depending on the client's schedule preference, there are two options:
1) “Accelerated and Intense, Advanced Business English Certificate Program,” in 3 months (1-1 private/premium rate/flexible schedule).
or
2) “Advanced Business English Certificate Program,” in 6 months (group class/reduced hourly rate, fixed schedule)
