Room was clean, as was the lobby & elevator. We asked for extra towels and they were brought to our room quickly. The shower had 2 dispensers of liquid dial soap. The Adria was a bit shabby in places especially the lifts but overall this was a fantastic hotel.|The rooms were spacious and the shower was powerful. Breakfast was really good with lots of choice. The area felt very safe with lots of restaurant choices locally. We found the Long Island Rail Road into Manhattan really easy and trains were frequent 24 hours a day and only took about 20-30 minutes. The staff at the Adria were really friendly especially Richard on reception who was more than happy to help with any of our requests and the lady who even gave us a lift to the train station when it was raining and we couldn't get a taxi.....outstanding service. Clean and comfortable room with couch seating provided for the queen room. Coffee maker available in the room, but coffee provided in the lobby. Very nice complementary hot breakfast with good variety and plentiful. I needed to print out something from my computer and have it faxed. The desk staff were very pleasant and helpful to get this done. Good value for the price. We will use again when we visit family in NY- within walking distance (or Uber) to the LIRR to get into Manhattan, if you so desire. More...

This is a good hotel in Queens with free WiFi, free parking and a nice free breakfast. The room was spacious, well equipped with a Keurig machine and a fridge. It was very clean. The breakfast was very good, and everyone was really polite and helpful.||One issue that I find problematic with most hotels in the US: they keep the temperature in the room the same, summer and winter. We were there for the US Open, a beautiful end of summer day with the temperatures in the 70s. As we were going to bed, we all felt cold. I looked and the AC was on with the temperature set at 70. I turned it off, but some time later it restarted. This was repeated overnight. I tried to increase the set temperature but again it reset itself. My advice to save both money and the environment: set the temperature at 68 in the winter and 74-75 in the summer and allow people to manipulate to their comfort. More...
