I recently renovated my kitchen and bathroom and hired interior designer, Peta Gaye Shoucair of Shoucair Designs to design and manage the entire project. Hiring Shoucair Designs and working closely with Peta from start to finish was ABSOLUTELY THE BEST decision ever. From my first phone conversation call with Peta, to my subsequent meeting with her only a few days later, I knew she would be the perfect person for me to work with on this project. I was a newbie at a gut renovation project and Peta held my hand and walk me through the entire process from start to finish. She made it a point to get to know me, and in doing so she asked all the right questions, (i.e. what’s me vision for the space, how do I live in the space, what’s important to me, what are my priorities). She listened to what I had to say and created a space that reflects me. It was clear my happiness with the space was equally important to her as her designing a beautiful space. We worked together to design both spaces (kitchen and bathroom) to fit my design aesthetic to a tee. She reached into my head and brought the design ideas in my brain together and found a way to fit them into my limited space. When I thought I knew exactly what I wanted she offered options, I hadn’t thought of or even knew to consider. I’m so truly grateful to her for how she’s creating two spaces I just love. She is a passionate and creative designer with a great style sensibility, and one who understands her client’s needs and desires for there space. There’s no question in my mind, that I would not have this beautiful kitchen and bathroom without Shoucair Designs and Peta Gaye Shoucair. Peta will be my go to designer for all home design projects going forward. Hands down she the best at what she does and you can’t go wrong hiring Peta Gaye Shoucair of Shoucair Designs for any home project. So. I was referred to Peta by my contractor, Maverick Associates Construction Group, Inc., who collaborated on a massive gut renovation that my husband and I embarked upon at the beginning of 2019. Not only are we impressed and THRILLED with the work our Contractor has done, we are equally impressed with A Shoucair Design. Our Brooklyn brownstone never looked better. We’re going to list it to sell, but are now having second thoughts because the job was done beyond our expectations. Anyway, a big thank you to Peta, of the Shoucair design team, and a big thank you to our Contractor, Joe Plaskett, of Maverick. Your service, level of excellence, and respect for timeliness will forever remain EPIC. She pays such close attention to detail and anticipated any issue that could arise all while maintaining consistent communication with me throughout the entire renovation process.

Peta assisted me with the renovation and design of my brownstone. It was truly an amazing and inspiring experience to work with her. She is knowledgeable, talented, creative and resourceful.
