Debbie paid close attention to every detail of my three day wedding experience in Italy and made sure I was also able to enjoy myself. The most special detail she managed to remember on the very busy wedding day was to ensure my daughter had on her protective headphones when the surprise fireworks went off! The thought makes me tear up because honestly I would have forgotten and that may have ruined that moment for my baby which would have ruined it for us! Debbie was absolutely amazing! I hired her for day of coordination and was not disappointed. As a low-key, no-fuss, last minute bride (I planned a wedding in less than 3 months), Debbie definitely knew that I wanted all of the glitz and glamour without the headache. She pulled together the decor, florals, and vendor coordination in less than one month's time. She transformed our very non-traditional wedding and reception venue into a cozy and chic location for our intimate affair. As with almost all weddings, there are kinks and issues that can send a bride into a spiral, but Debbie made sure that our day was everything that we had hoped for and helped this anxious bride stay calm. She and her staff even DJ'd our reception when our playlist refused to work! I am so happy that my husband and I chose Debbie of A la Mode Weddings & Events to execute our big day. I was referred by another coordinator that was unavailable for my wedding date. I didn't have a budget for a full wedding planner, but I knew I needed some guidance, expertise and a day of coordinator.
Debbie fulfilled my expectations and beyond.
From day one conversation, I felt comfort as if she was just a friend. There came a time when I was no longer able to afford certain things and she did everything in her power to help me work around the numbers and still make my wedding vision come true.
What I like most is that she was honest and upfront in a pleasant way, and came with a great amount of options and expertise that fit my vision.
I loved even more that my numerous emails were answered in a timely manner and she never made me feel as though I was a bother.
My wedding day had small uncontrollable kinks, but Debbie was my superwoman and made sure I was calm all the way through. I tend to be a micro-manager, but she took charge where and when I needed her to be.
I honestly had the best day ever and it wouldn't have been possible without her.

She expertly coordinated all of our details on the day of and helped with setting up the room exactly to are tastes. She is organized and prompt with all her responses even when requests were last minute. Debbie was a phenomenal planner who went up and beyond to make our day as smooth as possible . From the first day we met she was warm and genuine and very thorough.
What I loved most was she was always one step ahead of my process. I planned my wedding myself and used her “Day of services”. She was able to swoop in and take the reins effortlessly. She created on the spot solutions when I was stressed and was always caring and understanding. Last minute she saved the day with an amazing hair stylist reference as well as an ice cream vendor recommendation. Both of which added a special touch to my day. She was punctual with every meeting and very professional as she got along with all of our vendors. When our wedding ended she was there in the trenches helping the vendors pack and personally making sure we were ok. Thoughtful and caring is the kind of person she is . We made the best decision choosing Debbie to be our day of planner and I especially am ever so grateful for her
services. I would highly recommend her with no hesitancy.

Debbie from A La Mode events made my vision into reality. She is a woman of her word and I've gotten a chance to watch her work really hard in person as my vision came to life.
My husband and I got married at my sister in law's new home, right in the living room. Debbie came all the way from NY to West Philadelphia by herself and transformed the living room into the wedding of my dreams. The day of my wedding, Debbie made sure I was fed and pampered. She also made herself available to make sure my husband looked handsome for our big day. She even catered to my family and my in-laws. She did everything I needed her to do from start to finished. And I am so blessed and truly happy to have had her by my side throughout this whole journey! She is a true definition of black girl magic. Thank you Debbie and A La Mode Events.

I used Debbie from A La Mode for my day of coordinator. My wedding was on 08/19/2017 and though I planned it myself, I wanted someone to be there (other than family) to make sure my day and my vision went perfectly.
I checked out quite a few wedding coordinators, but after speaking with Debbie, I knew she was the one. Even though, I just booked her for "day coordinator" package, she was still very helpful in other areas of my planning process. She gave good recommendations, make up; videographer and after visiting the venue where my wedding was kept, she gave ideas of different things that I can do to enhance the place. Debbie was accessible and when I got the opportunity to see her work on my wedding day, I realized that she is truly a Gem. She was patient, she made sure the venue, DJ/MC and my other vendors did everything that I requested. I had nothing to worry about. She got me and my family for photos. When my husband kissed off my lipstick, she made sure my lipstick was ready for me and she told me that it needed to be applied. I could not have asked for a better person on my side on that special day.
Thank you Debbie for making our wedding day go smoothly it was MONEY well spent - and she is affordable.

PLEASE BOOK A LA MODE TO COORDINATE YOUR EVENT!!! I was lucky enough to have Debbie and her assistant, Stacy, as my Wedding Day Coordinators. Believe me, they took care of EVERY SINGLE DETAIL. From coordinating our preparation and travel time, putting together our wedding program, and making sure every thing was exactly how I envisioned it, Debbie took care of it all! My wedding ceremony ran over the allotted time and my bridal party was late to the garden where we were supposed to take pictures. Debbie negotiated an extra 30 minutes just so that I could take the pictures of my dreams. What I appreciated most is that Debbie made sure everything went well. With every wedding, things are bound to go wrong - disaster will strike somehow! BUT! With Debbie, I did not know whether anything went wrong. My wedding day was perfect because when something went wrong or was about to go wrong, DEBBIE TOOK CARE OF IT! Very professional and elegance at its finest. Didn't have any issues or delays in prep time or even late for any meetings we had for my event. What saved my day was the image consultant included with my package so I didn't even have to rack my brains on what to wear or find someone to do my hair. Totally satisfied with the service I received from this event planning company!! My birthday was fast approaching and I was way too busy to find a nice restaurant to celebrate . . After contacting this company, literally within hours a restaurant of my taste and style was booked for 50 people! They even took the time out to decorate my Private room at a very reasonable price!
