​Many other DJ companies have a roster of DJ's or subcontract their events. This "entertainment factory" approach can leave you without the personal attention you deserve and a DJ/MC with limited experience. What inspired you to start your own business?
Diana and Marty Gasper (owners) founded 2Dog Entertainment after collecting over 4 decades of combined experience producing and performing at live events across the globe. When planning their own wedding, they found it difficult to find event entertainment that was customized to their taste. Everything was 'plug and play' - People literally told them: "don't worry, we have 30 songs we use, you tell us 2 or 3 of your favorites". It was ALL THE SAME. They wanted their wedding to be unique, fun and memorable, they knew they had to create it themselves, and they knew other savvy clients would want the same kind of customized service
They are more than just DJs - they are experienced event producers that can see beyond the music and the dance floor lighting to bring you an event that is thoroughly thought-out, is managed completely, and leaves a lasting impact.

•Customized Uplighting in the color of your choice-
•"Your Name In Lights" custom monogram lighting is a special lighting instrument that will project an single color image of your choice. Often the namesof the bride and groom, their initials, monogram or logo is projected on the dance floor. You can provide the artwork, or our designers can create one for you. This is a great branding add-on for corporate events and private parties.
LIVE ENTERTAINMENT: A CAPPELLA aka: "The Ultimate Cocktail Hour"
Enhance the beauty and romance of your ceremony or cocktail hour with the lush harmonies of Blue Jupiter, NYC's own a cappella quartet. From classical to pop, Blue Jupiter's award-winning repertoire will create a "wow-factor" by singing music from the moment your guests arrive. Choose from the following (or both!):
The Ultimate Cocktail Hour with Blue Jupiter: 60 minutes of contemporary pop and jazz standards performed in Blue Jupiter's signature uptempo mix of beatbox and harmony.
The Ultimate Ceremony with Blue Jupiter: 20 minutes of prelude music while guests are being seated for the ceremony, plus one song for the processional and one song for the recessional. Choose from Blue Jupiter's repertoire or request a custom arrangement of your favorite song (additional charges may apply).
