I stayed last year for a girls weekend and loved this place so much I brought my husband back for his 50th birthday last week. Mike and Tracey make you feel like you are family and excel at making sure you always have everything you need. They go above and beyond when it comes to hospitality! We stayed in the Geranium room on the second floor and it was cosy and beautifully decorated. It was next door to the massage room where we enjoyed a couples massage after a long day of hiking. The inn provided live music and a low country boil while we were there to benefit the Thrive program in Hendersonville. We really enjoyed sitting out in the yard listening to good music and eating delicious food! The breakfast there is amazing and so are Mike, Tracey, and all of their staff, including their sweet dog Daisy! I can't say enough wonderful things about this place and everyone should stay there! We used an online booking site. The situation changed and I called them personally and asked if they might be able to change my reservation. Because the online booking site offered a nonrefundable fee, which honestly it's six months later and I didn't know that my plans were going to be changed, they were unwilling to work with me. Be very careful using third party reservations sites with This place because they clearly don't like the rates that they are offering. More...

You know the old saying, “when you stay here your family”. Well, no where else does this saying ring truer than at the Waverly Inn. From the time you enter the cozy eccentric foyer with its traditional style dawned with vintage items and meet Tracy and Mike. You instantaneously feel as if you gone from being a stranger to family. The hospitality goes above and beyond your expectation, it is simply refreshing, because it’s genuine. My husband and I had a couples massage and it was just simply the best feeling especially since we didn’t have to leave the inn and the commute took us to the second floor where the masseuse and her team just blew our expectations out of the water. Even when we got snowed in while staying there, Tracy bent over backwards to accommodate all the guest while never quitting to ensure everyone was comfortable. Like, when your grandma brings you cookies and milk, you’ll experience the same warmth and comfort when you attend the social hour with complimentary wine, beer, and charcuterie board. The rooms are cozy and quaint with their mix and match furnishings that contribute to the overall vintage aesthetics. The breakfast, oh the breakfast was out of the world delicious. Sausage and egg quiche, triple berry bake casserole, homemade banana and chocolate chip pancakes that melt in your mouth! You’ll gain at least ten pounds eating the delicious homemade goodies with local jelly, sausage, eggs, and bacon. If the food and inn is not enough to impress you, then the fact the inn is literally two or three blocks within walking distance to downtown Hendersonville. From the plethora of art galleries to the vintage thrift stores to the restaurants and gift stores, Hendersonville will just blow your sock off with the quaint variety of entertainment it offers set among the historical vibrancy of the town. Overall, there is no comparison to any other B&B experience when talking about Waverly Inn because they are the champions on a whole of their own that will make you feel relaxed and at rest by the time you leave. We spent two nights at the Waverly Inn and we loved every minute! We had a beautiful spacious room on the first floor. The breakfast meals were absolutely delicious.
